Rotten
If zero was an option I would put zero stars. Item had such a pungent odor of rotting garlic that when I opened the box it arrived in I gagged. The item is not fresh but actually rotten. I paid way too much money to not be able to use the product.

OH! I can buy this again! This is my 3rd time to order.
Fabulous! Just simply FAB! AGAIN! This is my third order for Spice World Peeled Garlic. The first was fabulous. The second order was substituted to be from a different vendor. It was horrible. This THIRD order is fabulous again. When it comes from Spice World, it's the best. We had been purchasing the peeled garlic from a retail store (can't say the name, but everyone knows it) for years. Suddenly, no longer available. I've searched far and wide for a new source. Then, a quick Amazon search and there it was! LARGE PEELED GARLIC from the same source as we used to buy. HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY! I only wish they had it in smaller packages so it doesn't go bad in our refrigerator. But that's OK. When it becomes slimey, I'll just buy some more! Thank you.

No leakage, fresh and good quality. Taste is good. 3 pounds is a lot of garlic! Size is abundant.

Arrived fresh. It is whole bunch of garlic! Tasty.

Disappointed in quality
This package of garlic cloves came from TX to WA and it took 8 days. By the time I received them they were clearly frozen somewhere along the way. They look soft, brown and translucent. I put them in my freezer and am not sure that they are usable. Pretty disappointing.

Value ,very good. China grown, questionable.
This product arrived in a very fresh state. I usually pound the garlic once or twice to release the potent allicin component. It usually releases a potent smell. I didnt get that. The garlic seemed more fibrous. I ended up fermenting it in honey and it came out quite good. I'd be reluctant to use it in any other capacity.Something is different in the way this is grown. You cant beat California garlic, and this Chinese product doesn't measure up for me.
