I had a California Duster for a long time and it started to only push dust around so I ended up trying out this Takavu duster. The first time I used the Takavu on my car it pushed dust around, but as I continued to use it, it started to actually pick up the dust. It won't pick up plant debris or other larger stuff that that falls from trees, but it gets the pollen and dust from the air.This duster is much lighter than the California duster I had, so using it is easier. It also has a foam handle that's comfortable to hold. Hopefully it'll continue to work after many uses. So far I've used it 4 times to dust off my cars (they're all parked outside), and I'm satisfied.EDIT: After a few uses, my duster is now only pushing dust around and not picking it up. I basically now have to start on my car's roof and dust downwards so I can push the dust off the bottom trip of my car. I'm past my return date, so I'll keep it and continue using it, but it's annoying that I have to be so strategic with dusting.

Works really well, but the handle isn’t long enough to reach the top of the car. It also doesn’t have any flex to be able to maneuver smaller areas very well.

. . . be sure all contaminants on your vehicles' paint are removed prior to use! I gave this a 4 star rather than a "perfect score" simply because I feel I need to clay my trucks paint. After my last 2 washes I can feel a slight grain when I run my hand over the hood after completing my detailing. And I mention this because a couple days after the wash I used this duster to remove a light accumulation of yellow pollen and DID see some of that pollen left on the vehicle. What's happening is the contaminants that are attached to the clear coat are acting like microscopic pinheads, grabbing any fibers that brush over them. Once I clay my entire truck I feel this duster will work perfectly. So those of you that don't feel this duster works well, there's your reason.

I love keeping our car clean, and I never thought of using something like this before, but, I am completely sold on this! It’s fantastic! We live on a dusty road, and even coming right home from the car wash, the car will pick up a lot of dust. With very little effort and time it will remove it like magic! Every few passes I just fluff it with my hand to clean it. Don’t do that if you have lotion on our hands of course, or are wet or dirty. The extension handle is a really helpful feature, you can reach the hood easily without leaning into the car and scratching it with your belt buckle, etc. We have an SUV, so the hood is high and large, and that extension handle works great! I really love this brush! I wish I would have had it years ago! It really works!

Works very well. Telescoping handle easy to use. Much less expensive than California Car Duster at almost half the price.

This car duster is so plush and my car loves to be rubbed by it. With COVID19, I haven't been able to give her a good car wash and I'm OCD when it comes to keeping my car clean, so this duster is the perfect solution until the world is back to normal and I can go back to my weekly car washes! Although I'll still use the duster between washes to keep her shiny! I love the soft grip handle as well as the case that it comes in. Overall great product and I would definitely but again! Thanks!

The Microfiber picks everything up without scratching my car. However, the end of the handle has a sharp unfinished edge protruding from the end cap, as you can see from the enlarge photo. Therefore, making the handle very uncomfortable, and can cut your hand. If that edge touch your car, it will scratch it. Be aware. I gave it a 3-Star because the microfiber cloth does a good job of pick up dust and dirt.

I was excited when I read the description online, but after using it a few times I noticed that it would only remove the dust if it was a very light layer. On days where the dust was a little thicker, it would only move it around leaving swirls & areas where the dust just gathered. Yes, it's very soft & easy to use, but not very effective when my car sat in the garage or was covered outside for a period of 3-5 days. I'm actually very disappointed and wouldn't recommend it to anyone expecting to use it for anything other than everyday light dust removal.
