I purchased the DBX1, with firmware version. 2.2. thru Amazon, used. Current new version 3.5. Check ASI website for new features.I've found this unit to be a very good tool for me for upcoming barometric pressure related migraines.It not only has been able to verify how sensitive my system is to upcoming changes as far inches of mercury but also alerts me to 'rapid,drops & rises in pressure when the signs of migraine are just beginning.

Outstanding product from an outstanding company. The unit has a 0.25 mbar accuracy so, performance for the dollar, it can't be beat. The unit comes NIST certified against a high accuracy GE Druck test instrument. In addition to measuring and displaying station/local pressure, the DBX1 calculates and displays altimeter pressure/QNH. The DBX1 QNH formula agrees exactly with the FAA defined formula for altimeter pressure/QNH as found in NWS AWOS systems. In conclusion, the DBX1 is my reference unit of choice for field calibration of weather sensor barometers. To date, the DBX1 has performed flawlessly.
