Excellent fit for Philips Hue hub
I bought this specifically to pair with a Philips Hue hub. Paired on first try and worked perfectly with a string of BTF 5050SMD RGBWWs. You can tell if you got it in pairing mode, the LED strip will pulse until it's paired. To power it I used a 24v/6.25A (~150W) power supply. The strip I used uses a max of 150W, which can potentially be an issue if you drive all 5 color channels. One caveat that's Hue specific: Hue WILL NOT let you add effects to a third party controller. So long as you know that, you're good to go.

Connects to Phillips HUE.
I bought this hoping that it would work with my Phillips HUE setup. This controller is amazing, it connected first try and acts pretty much as the Phillips version. It didn't require much set up to follow the preset I have made in the HUE APP. This is a way cheaper way to get strip lights into your set up than the HUE ones.

Solid Smart zigbee Controller for LEDs
Picked up this Zigbee LED controller to integrate my LED strips into a smart home setup, and overall it works well once everything is set up correctly. Pairing with a Zigbee hub (like Echo or SmartThings) took a bit of patience, but after connecting, it responds reliably to app and voice commands. The biggest advantage is smart control—you can adjust brightness, colors, and schedules directly from your phone or through Alexa/Google Assistant. It really upgrades basic LED strips into a smart lighting system without needing to replace the entire setup. Great option if you already have a Zigbee ecosystem and want to make your LED strips smarter. Not the easiest to set up, but once configured, it works reliably and adds a lot of convenience.

Please read!
First a warning and the reason why I knocked off a star and nearly RMA'ed what I thought was a DOA unit. I received this controller before my RGBW FCOB strip, so I decided it would be a good idea to test this controller by connecting it to my Zigbee network. I tried for a few hours; re-reading the instructions, researching the support level in zigbee-herdsman-converters, taking the device apart to inspect the solder joints, due to no status LED I measured the current to check if it was doing anything during a reset (it draws ~0.013A regardless of 5-24V), and changing my pacing on the 4-cycle reset (lost count on attempts). The directions never mention YOU MUST HAVE AN LED STRIP ATTACHED BEFORE THE CONTROLLER WILL POWER ON. I had a weak hunch this was the case, so after waiting for my LED strip to arrive I tried again and it worked first try! With that out of the way, I can confirm the controller works great with a Sonoff Zigbee 3.0 "-P" dongle with Zigbee2MQTT in Home Assistant. It exposes State, Brightness, Color temp (requires LED strip with both WW "warm white" and CW "cool white"), individual RGBWW values, Long/Short Flash, Effect (I have not figured this out yet, but includes: blink, breathe, okay, channel change, finish effect, and stop effect), "Do not disturb" which if set to true will keep the light off after power outage, Color power on behavior (initial, previous, customized), and LQI (Link Quality Index). I could not be happier with this unit after that initial hangup.

Works right away and very well
This works really well with hue. I have 2 of them being used for different LED tape strips. They are easy to set up, they just shop up in the hue app right away. One thing I like very much is how you can use a wired 12v power supply to power it. That allows you to use much longer runs of LED tape than you could otherwise.

Complete garbage
This company has a serious quality control issue. I set up my lights fairly easily and they worked fine for about ten seconds, however quickly the red would not turn off, every color had a reddish hue and even when I turned off the lights the red were still on. After double checking all the wiring and connections I confirmed it was a bad unit. I exchanged the unit for another one……Same problem!! What a colossal waste of time for this piece of garbage. I bought a different brand controller and it works flawlessly. I will never buy from this company again.

Easy set up
the instructions are fairly simple. a little too simple as i ended up over complicating things when i didn't need to. this is a great controller to use for homes that work off Philips hue since it follows the same color scheme. I've spent money on a more expensive one that was difficult to connect to my phone and had a limited variety of colors.
