Wedge Motor Support - Clip Universal for single ram power tilt systems. Universal m-wedge and has a lot of the same benefits of the original m-wedge and uses the main tilt rod on the lower unit. Works on Mercury, Yamaha, Honda, Suzuki, Evinrude and Johnson outboards with single ram power tilt systems, plus kicker motors with power tilt systems. The universal m-wedge and unit pops or clicks into place over the main tilt rod and when you tilt the outboard down it compresses the rubber for a cushioned stable platform. It and only five inches longs, so it fits in any boat storage compartment.

Could use to be a little more solid like almost plastic
Material is a bit to soft and just crushes under the weight of the motor. Could use to be a little more solid like almost plastic. Not 100% sure of the positive effect it is having. My units did not say M-Y wedge like the one in the picture. Could i have received the wrong item?

What i received did not look like it would do the job as advertised
What i received in the mail was not the item posted in the original picture. What i received did not look like it would do the job as advertised, supporting a 115hp outboard on long hauls. The original pic said made in USA on it, what i received in the mail came in a two pack and looked like it was now made in China. I don't see the need for two of these items????
