The door stops are very easy to use and are quite durable. Must have item for a household with young kids. It's a bit pricey and you could craft your own with thick Styrofoam material (I will do it next time). But definitely worth the safety and well being of my child-

I bought these to use with a wiley cat who know how to pull out wedge doorstops and was locking himself and his brother in rooms. They fit snugly on the door without causing damage, and are easy to remove to close the door fully. They are cushioned so that attempts to slam the door won’t cause damage to the frame. I like that users can choose where to position them (top or side) to control how much the door can open or close.

Don’t know how I’ve survived all these years with the slamming classroom door:O These are excellent! 4 in a pack so it was no big deal when some kid took the first one I put on the door when I left on while I had the door totally ajar. 🙄 At my high school we have an hour lunch and I always have a throng of kids in and out the entire time. Our kids can eat ANYWHERE in the building there’s so much noise in the hall I didn’t want my door ajar. But when I closed it the incessant slamming was driving me even crazier than I already am😊 This is a sanity saver. I like having my door cracked to let air in/out but my bedroom door in my new apartment wouldn’t stay cracked, it would just close unless I kept it either open half way or wide open which I didn’t want to do. Also when I kept it open half way whenever the heat/ac turned on it would make the door slam shut. I searched for door stoppers and came across these. I put one at the top of my door so now whenever I close my door it will stay open just a little bit. Also whenever the heat/ac turns on it keeps the door from slamming! Didn’t know these existed but I’m glad I found them!They are made out of a very strong and thick styrofoam.

but I do wish that it was a little bit thicker because my dog's (a Lab) nose is wider than this. Otherwise, its easy to use and I do use it every single day.

My toddler would slam the door when she first started to learn to walk. So it was nice to have these on the top of the door to prevent her from pinching her fingers.

We have a feisty 6 year old who loves to slam doors to prove a point when she's mad. We are parents who do not allow or appreciate door slamming. As much as we would love to remove her door for such behavior, it would be a bigger punishment for us since her room is right off the living room/kitchen. These lil guys are CLUTCH when she feels the need to slam doors, we just pop one on towards the top of her door where she can't reach and ta-da! No more slamming (though, cue the meltdown about not being able to slam her door). 10/10 recommend.

I ordered this the day my son got his pinky finger slammed in the door by his sister and his fingernail fell off! I was tired of yelling at the kids for slamming doors and always trying to find ways to keep them from slamming doors on each other. These work great if you have door slamming kids! I put one these on top of the door so the kids can’t reach at all. They also are good for our cats so they don’t get stuck in any rooms.
