Fuel Pump E7196M for 2005 2006 2007 Chrysler Town & Country, Dodge Caravan/Grand Caravan (w/Stow And Go Seating) TOPSCOPE FP76065M

I bought this for a 2007 chrysler town and country with stow and go seating. The pumps for them are shorter. This pump compresses smaller becuase of the design of the pump. The top part has rails and it slides into the bottom rails when you install it in the tank.Its been my experience that the fuel gauge sending unit only lasts so long so i bought this complete pump. One reveiw on here with this pump stated that it only lasted a month and then quit. The tank on this car is plastic..everything is plastic.. The price is always like your buying gold plated. These pumps in other brands such as Airtex.. which people claim to be the best can cost over 250 dollars. I ordered a Airtex pump rebuild kit just in case this pump in this one decides to go out. I will not pay 300 bucks for another plastic pump but will pay 40 bucks for the rebuild kit and install that if needed. To me it looks well made and it was really packed well. Packing can make a big difference on a pump. Another thing is you have to clean the tank and most people dont do that , they take one pump out. look at the gas inside it and say yeah its clean enough.. but really when i drained mine i found alot of particles of whatever. maybe parts from the inside of those gas pump hosees from the 10000 gas stations i stopped at.. The pumps have a fan type pump inside it and they operate in a resevoir that is enclosed by the plastic casing. The filter is inside that casing not outside like alot of them. If your too rough you can mess up that gas gauge and then you have a car where you play roll the dice and hope there is enough gas and that you remembered your milage correctly. Some of these reviews you dont know who wrote them. Perhaps a competitor who is trying to outsell the other one.. then writes its junk. To me everything looked good and was well thought out evan the instructions and the packing. Its worth the gamble evan if it doesnt cost a million dollars.

Had my mechanic install this in our 06 Grand Caravan to replace the existing pump (original) that died after 140k miles and then sitting for 18 months without use. They charged me 2 hours of labor to install it (not bad I think) and it's been working perfectly for the last month or so that it has been installed and working. Couldn't be happier!

My original fuel pump died after 200,00 miles in my 2006 Town n Country van . Hardest part of the job was putting the tank back in as it was full . The replacement fuel pump got here Acme fast and was a breeze to instill . Once every thing was hooked back up the van started with no issues . Pump runs quiet and smooth . I would highly recommend this fuel pump to anyone who is looking to save money and get a quality part at the cheapest price around .,

Following Service Manuals and Youtube videos the install was easy and now I have a functional fuel gage again!
