Big Accessories Short Bill Cadet Cap (BA501)

I am a short (5 ft. 2 in.) woman. A part-time job in food service requires me to wear a plain black hat with no graphics. Although a hat is provided—a traditional ball cap with a huge bill—I've been looking for a replacement, one with a smaller bill, and perhaps a little more style. I am thrilled with this hat! Love the 100% cotton fabric. Was easy to adjust to fit my head. Because this hat has straight sides with a stitched-on top panel instead of the dome of a ball cap, its cap is roomier than the ball cap so plenty of room for my hair, and vertically not as tall as the ball cap so it doesn't overwhelm my head. The brass details: eyelets, buckle and loop make it look like a more expensive hat. And, there are no raw edges anywhere on this hat, so 5 stars for a great design and workmanship, too. I feel confident it won't come apart when laundered. It perfectly fits the 'bill!'

Since becoming disabled, I have taken up shooting for recreation and for self defense since I am no longer physically able to to much else.When I take lessons, it is at an outdoor range, and they encourage you to wear a billed hat. I have a pretty big head, (not weird looking I hope) and have found it hard in the past to find ball caps or cadet caps to fit. This one fits perfectly, is comfortable and functional... as well as pretty good looking.

I’ve purchased three of these caps to use for my job and love how they fit. I have a small face so caps with long bills don’t fit me correctly & I find I’m constantly smacking it off my head when I lean down to get something. I don’t have that or any problem with these caps. I’ve even started wearing them outside of work.

Years ago I bought a blue military style cap from H&M. I love that hat but wearing it to work has worn it out. That hat has an adjuster in the back that is a solid strap with a flat metal clasp and the back of the hat is closed giving it a fitted look. Another reviewer said this hat was closed in the back. The one I received is open like a baseball cap. The adjuster is like the ones you find on a luggage strap that you slide. It's just slightly large for my 7 1/4" head so a little baggy in the back if I adjust it tight. It also is a little baggier on top than I would like. It is 100% cotton so might shrink a little if I wash it. I do like the shorter bill and it doesn't have the cheap looking binding on the edge of the bill. It's not a bad hat. I'm just being picky.

It fits, I wish it was a *tiny* bit longer and that the adjustable strap was about half an inch longer, but it works (I wear a 7 5/8, XL.) These are my go-to casual hats for the Summer -- I have every color except the pink. I also wear Kangol 504 hats to work for a more dressed up look. For the price, it's a great alternative to baseball caps.

Although this hat was to big and obviously runs big as we purchased two hats and they were both to big, I still give this hat a 4 star. The quality of this hat is really good and does look like it is mad of fine materials. I seen no flaws on it and it appeared to be a really cute had, they just run big so I would be very careful and pay attention to sizing or ask for exact sizing from the company, you can send it back but you will be responsible for the shipping and no more than what the hat costs its not worth paying to send it back if it doesn't fit good.

I just received my order two days ahead of when I was expecting it! :) My dad's birthday is coming up and he needed a new hat so I purchased this hat in Navy and Black. We decided to go ahead and order these hats for an early birthday present. When the package arrived in the mail he was excited and opened it right away. He loves both hats. It was funny to watch him try both on even though they are the same hat. He was admiring each color. The only thing he didn't like was the made in China tag. Really though what isn't made there nowadays. Order these hats you won't regret it. They have a few grommets so your head can breathe and are adjustable not to mention stylish.

These are great hats. I've been through about 6 of them in various colors.They are big. big as in "deep" Which fits my alien head quite well.Also I'm insecure and like to wear my hats low.you could even tuck your ears in.I have noticed a little variance in size between hats and colors.But not enough to really matter.They have a shorter than usual bill, which I think looks dope.Price is right.

Nice hat, appears well made, sliding clasp holds tension well it fits and wears well, it’s light on your head with just enough brim to cover the sun and your eyes, nice all around not near as heavy as my lines Wind River cadet hat, but just as comfortable without the price tag

Hat was exactly what I wanted and it arrived before the date that it was suppose to. Great deal! Boxed perfect so the hat wasn't deformed.

It is a pretty light material hat. Great for warm weather.

Side material is too tall. Wierd fit
