Perfect for lightening close up
I don't think I'll be directing traffic with this cone adapter, but I do use it often for illuminating close up areas. I'm using it on a 4D Mag-Lite, it defuses the light enough to provide a good even work light. The fit is firm and I don't have any fear the cone will work loose yet it slips off easy enough if needed.

These cones fit the OLD C-cell Mag-Lites, not the new ones...
I purchased a newer ML25LT not realizing the head of the new model is much smaller than the old ones. The old ones have a head the same size as the D cell, not true anymore. Most of the accessories do not fit the ML25LT. So, if you purchased that model just be aware...Otherwise I am sure these are an excellent product, I have no other complaints.Update: Mag-Lite now lists a correct cone in each color, yellow is: SKU 118-000-238

Very durable plastic
Perfect for any of the D cell Maglites when doing traffic control! I have a synchronized Christmas Lightshow that brings hundreds of cars each night that my neighbors and I come out to do traffic control. I purchased a 2-D Maglite and this traffic wand. The plastic is extremely durable, unlike a cheaper unit that I had earlier for an EverReady Flashlight. You can easily drop the flashlight from 5+ft and this traffic wand will not crack! The orange is very bright when the flashlight is on! Easy to catch the attention of "busy" drivers.

I'm sure they would be great if I could attach it to the RAYOVAC D ...
I'm sure they would be great if I could attach it to the RAYOVAC D cell battery flashlight I bought to use it on. I found that the base of the cone is the same size as the circumference of the flashlight head. It's frustrating since I purchased the eight wands (6 red & 2 yellow) to redirect traffic due to construction for a large event.I think these are a great idea but it would be helpful to know what type or brand of D cell flashlights the work with.I want to revise my original review. The traffic cones did fit the D cell flashlights I bought after all. I didn't have the strength to put them on. I had to asked one of the male staff members whose bigger and stronger to see if he could attach it. After a few minutes he did.Once attached the wands met all my expectations. I would definitely purchase again.

Yellow cone/wand fits snugly
It does what its supposed to, and it fits nice and snug. I simply cannot imagine this thing falling off or not staying on, as some reviews (for other colors of the wand here on Amazon) suggest. One small disappointment - with LED Mags a weak halo/ring comes out of the open end of the cone, not a usable spot beam (yes I tried adjusting the beam). I tried this with multiple Mag 3D LED and 4D LED lights all with identical results. Out of curiosity I tried it with a non-LED Mag, and as I suspected I was able to get a good usable beam out of the open end. I suspect these were designed pre-LED era. Not a big deal, I got this to go with a 3D LED I keep in the trunk in case of emergency and it will work fine.
