Well above expectations
For populating my new NAS, I bought these Refurbished Enterprise drives. All I can say is "wow, freaking WOW". Thanks goHardDrives. I've used (Toshiba) Desktop hard drives in my NAS, and I never had any issues, even running 24x7. But it's nice to have Enterprise drives if you can afford them, because they are built tough, and built to last. These Refurb HGST drives were a great deal, at less than half the cost of a new one. And with a MTBF of 2.5 million hours, that's 235 YEARS, so I have no issue buying a refurb Enterprise drive that was manufactured 2 years ago. I'll write another review in another 233 years and let you know how they are going...All Four of these drives came in a sealed anti-static bag, and bubble wrap, nicely nestled in a box. Good job GoHardDrives. They installed in my NAS without incident, were tested for 30 hours, and they are now running cool and quiet. Highly recommended.

Dead on Arrival.
Powered drive on. Immediately heard drive noises that indicated the head not functioning. Disk management did not recognize drive. Felt platters spinning. Some sort of mechanical failure. Returning.

Enterprise Drives with Noisy Features
I recommend only using these in a very heavy steal case. The constant clicking is very annoying in some cases. I imagine most NAS systems have cheap plastic cases and the standard commodity NAS would just amplify the noise, just like a cheap case with a large front fan that I tried these drives in. That said, the clicking is from the drives running a surface scan to check the platters for errors. So, with the right case these drives would be nice. I just think the manufacturer and seller should make the noise level clearly known. Would also be nice if the manufacture would get some reviews of the noise level with the drives running in a multitude of cases.

Good
Bought a few of these for a Nas and they all work just fine. Drives showed up in individual packages, well packed too.

Didn't last 3 months before first bad sector
I purchased 2 drives for use in a Synology DS1018+ NAS. They seemed to work fine initially but they developed bad sectors within 3 months. The Power On Time for both drives was in excess of 4 years! After 2 or 3 bad sectors my Synology pretty much told me to get rid of them ASAP. The company I purchased them from did not have replacements in stock so they refunded my purchase.

Loud during seek.
Though it appears to be running fine in my Unraid system, this drive takes me back quite a few years in regard to noise level. I've not had a drive this loud during seek in quite some time. I will update as we are planning to order two more which should confirm if this is normal or not.I spend enough time at work on 10K SAS drives, and though they do have a bit of a sound profile all their own, the seek sound is much less. This is also louder than an older 10K WD VelociRaptor 500GB.

Solid drives but a little noisy
I wanted to put some high capacity drives into a NAS without breaking the bank. I got 4 of these 6GB drives for that purpose. I would have liked a bit higher capacity, but going up to 8GB brought the price up too high. These were only a little more expensive than new 4GB drives so I decided upon these. They have been working fine. They feel like solidly built drives. They are a bit noisy on seeking, but its not bothersome to me and I like drives that make some noise when being used so I can tell there is access going on without having to look over at lights.I've now had them running in my NAS for 6 months without any issues.
