Great Reader with Quality Control Issues
I recently ordered this USB-C Card Reader (X001WC03JT) from Amazon. The reader itself works perfectly, and it is surprisingly fast in transferring large DNG (photo) files from an SD card to my iPad Pro; however, I found a bothersome issue with both units I have tried. it appears that the outer shell is installed upside down. When the logo is facing up, then the labels for the card slots, and the card slots themselves, are upside down (see attached photo).Thinking the first reader I received was an aberration, I returned it to Amazon, but the replacement I received has the identical issue. The product photos on the listing show how the unit should appear, and the photo I have included show the assembly issue with each of the units I have tried. This issue notwithstanding, I would give it five stars.

Great Tool Enables Review of DSLR Photos on Samsung Tablets and Smartphones with Type "C" Connectors
I was looking for a tool that would allow me to preview photos stored on my DSLRs CF and SD memory cards while on-the-road away from my primary computer. The Faracent USB 3.1 Type C Memory Card Reader allows me to do that with my Samsung tablet and phone, both of which use the newer Type C USB connector. This Faracent card reader is very durable and compact which is great for travel. Plug into the USB Type "C" connector on the tablet and open the "My Files" folder on the Samsung device to access photos stored on your camera's memory card. Nice to be able to preview the photos on a high resolution 9.7" tablet versus on the camera's LCD display. Should be a great tool while vacationing in Montana this summer.

Well-made CF reader
The reader seems well-made, with an aluminum housing and strain relief on both ends of the short cable. The CF slot is fairly deep, about 2/3 of the card, so it provides good guidance for the card and reduces the chance of bending pins in the reader. The reader seems fast, but I don't have any really fast CF cards to test it.

Great quality
I was surprised at the quality of the product. It is all metal, yet not luggish. It's just big enough to do it's job, the port fits great and doesn't wobble in the connection, and is super fast. Worth every penny and more, really. Where uploading 500 RAW image files would take a few minutes, this literally pulls them up almost instantaneous.

Good quality, CF Reader is a bit of a pain
This is a good card reader and works well with my MacBook Pro (2017). The load time seems standard for a USB-C port, certainly is faster than my other USB port card reader. The CF reader works but only if I push it really hard and hold it while I download my files. An inconvenience but I manage. I only ever use my CF card as a back up if my SD card gets full from photoshoots, which is rare since my SD card is 128 GB.

Provides a Difficult to Find Solution
Since I am committed to CF media for my photography, it has been difficult to find a quality Thunderbolt 3 adapter for the CF format. This adapter is the perfect solution for my need of a modern interface that facilitates my continuing use of CF and thereby protecting my investment in photo equipment. The unit seems to be well made and works beautifully in my Mac environment. The color and finish blend perfectly with my iMac Pro. I have not used it long enough to comment on its durability, but I have no reason to believe that it will not have a long service life. I highly recommend this adapter.

Not sure what happened
I took Easter pictures for my church. Everything went fine until I used this CF reader on my computer. It corrupted all of my photos on the card and I had to use a service to try to pull what I could from the CF card. Not a happy camper.

Super fast uploads.
I wish you could change your laptop at the same time but otherwise a great card reader. Uploads my raw files to Lightroom super fast. No complaints otherwise and would def buy again and recommend

Poor card slot build quality
Build quality seems cheap despite being made of metal. Card slots seem as if they have a lot of friction and may actually damage cards. Have used much better quality readers before.
