This has been a game changer! My optometrist has been after me for years to wear an eye mask to decrease dry eye (syndrome).I’m not claustrophobic, but this product is more like goggles than a whole head eye mask - and is much easier to wear and adjust than other products.I also work night shifts, so sleep during the day. This product is a great light blocking eye mask.

Having tired warm wet wash cloths that frequently needed rewarmed, I found it difficult to get the 5 minutes done my Opthmalogist prescribed. Somehow Amazon suggested this product.I found the You Tube video directions easy to follow to heat the covered beaded inserts submerged in the net bag & 2 cups of water in the microwave. I can easily get 25 minutes and relax at the same time! It is worth the price & my eyes are much better.

after 2 nights of use the product is dealing with the Dry eye problem ok.the shipping packaging not so good. Was shipped in original display box which was severely damaged some where. it arrived with one end completely destroyed and crudely taped back to gather. After the product had evidently escaped as there was debris on the product. in the future I suggest rethinking the shipping package for better protection of product.

It took a little getting used to sleeping with the mask but I don't rub my eyes anymore in the middle of the night! One tip, when you wash it, use a towel to squeeze/soak up a lot of the water from the foam so it will dry faster. I didn't do that the first time and it was still wet when it was bed time.

This is a terrible eye compress, especially for the price. You're better off spending 1/5th of the cost on Bruder. My optometrist recommended this very heavily because it has heat gels that don't need to be microwaved and it's a wet/heat combo, which is better for dry eyes. However, the heat gels are a novelty and you have to snap a metal piece inside back and forth at minimum 20 times to get it to activate. It touts a consistent heat but they don't get all that warm or stay warm for more than a couple minutes. Then the gel is hard and useless until you pop it in boiling water. It takes way longer than advertised. I had boiled mine for 15 mins and later found some hard crystals still not reset so I had to boil again. I'd rather just pop something in the microwave and be done. They do have microwavable gels that work a bit better than the reaction ones but still need to go through the rigamorale of wetting the eye covers and putting it all in the eye covers before it starts cooling down.Also, the band holding the two eye pieces together isn't adjustable so if your eyes are slightly closer or more apart, this wont fit properly. The pieces are also held together with holes and a plastic silicony piece so it pops out easily but is hard to put back.Ultimately, steer clear.

purchased this for two primary reasons: 1) because my eyes seem to dry out at night, unusure if due to the AC units running or a ceiling fan; and 2) because its hard for me to sleep or nap when there is any light in our bedroom.... Had to return the first set that was received... The connectors for the headband become disconnected immediately when putting on. Sent back and was replaced in a timely fashion. The inserts go in and out pretty easily... Nice touch having the heating / cooling packs for therapy... Suggested changes: 1) a cover or some softer styrofoam on the inside to avoid discomfort or irritation; 2) stronger headband anchors - they are flimsy and don't allow you to tighten the headband without possible risk of them pulling out of the eye covers; and 3) something with a slightly lower profile that would allow users to sleep more comfortably on side/stomach which is not super comfortable with the current config. All in All, I think this is one of the better options currently available.
