Q: do I need a separate power supply to the monitor as well or is this also feed from the reversing light supply

HI Kevin, With the 4.3 inch dash monitor (and 4.3 inch mirror monitor) you can just power them from a 12v feed at the front of the vehicle and they will staff off until they get a reverse signal and then come to life. You can optionally run a cable from the reversing light to the monitor at the front but this isn't supplied. If you are really clever there will be reverse feed at the front you could connect the monitor to but its more of a pro installers solution. Regards

Yes on this particular monitor you can have it powered by any 12v supply. The display will remain off until a picture signal is received (from the camera when you select reverse gear) and then it will come to life.

Q: just fitting the camera works great but can the angle of the camera be altered or is in a fixed position as I am getting fish eye effect on the edge

The camera is in a ball socket so you can move it around a bit to get the angle you want. The lens however is fixed and designed to give you a wide angle view.
