Don't press this across your back blades or anywhere across your back!!!
Using proper form and appropriate resistance for my strength, I was injured doing the bench press with the bench band. The marks on my back are not from the band snapping, they are from the force of the resistance while pressed transferred into my scapulae and spine. I didn't feel it during the exercise, but the next day I felt like I had been hit in my upper back with a bat. Then, I saw my back in the mirror.

Highly recommended band set
I bought the Gorilla Bow about a month ago. Before ordering it, I ordered this pack of extra bands since I knew the bands that came with the Bow wouldn't be enough resistance. I will say, I have since ordered two of the 90 pound bands too. This pack comes with two 50 pound bands and two 60 pound bands. I know when I was ordering, I kind of thought it might just be one of each but there are two of each. These alone offer 220 pounds of resistance. I've yet to figure out how to use more than 4 bands at once without being concerned about one of them popping off but with these heavier bands you can get by with 4. I had very little experience with bands before buying the Gorilla Bow and have to say, I'm impressed with these bands, their quality, their comparative resistance to free weights.

What an amazing workout!
I have been lifting weights and doing crossfit for decades. I was intrigued by the Gorilla Bow and decided to get one to work into my weekly regimen. I train six days a week and the Bow has two of those slots. I must say that I am very impressed and get intense muscle fatigue from it. Weights, machines, bands are all just tools and what matters is that you fatigue the muscles. This thing definitely does the trick. Let me be clear that I immediately ordered the Extra Heavy band kit and also added two short 90 lb bands also. I do not ever use the lighter ones. What I ike best about the Gorilla Bow is that it really forces you to go slow and maintain ultra strict form. I find weights much easier to cheat on. I intend to the the extra 80 and 90 lb bands also and am telling my friends at the gym about it.

Be careful!
As some other folks have written, this band can injure if you are not careful. I use it with a Gorilla bow. The first time I used it for a chest exercise, the band slipped up and snapped against my neck. Wasn't injured, but it definitely hurt. It's very, very, tight on the bar so you need to be careful with the movement. Also, both when putting it on the Gorilla bar, and especially taking it off, make very sure you anchor the bar (I keep my foot on the bottom). Otherwise, the band can cause the bar to swing upwards/outwards (which happened to me and I barely stopped it from smacking into the wall).Overall, it's a nice band, I am going to get a second one, but safety lessons definitely learned when using it. It also is only for a short movement (such as chest, legs, or back).

Current level of conditioning
First what I disliked. It did not take into consideration the current level of fitness or strength of the prospective customer.(I immediately ordered heavier bands) That"s it on the cons. Love the ease of changing resistance between exercises. Like doing standing Chest Press once receiving the heavier bands. Enjoyed doing sumo squats without having to go through the "plate" changing routine. Front Squats were terrific, could feel the abs working. Upright rows were right on. I could go on and on - in short - great product. Thanks Gorilla Bow

Doesn't really enable anything new
There's a few moves, like bench press, that Gorilla Bow regularly shows in it's marketing and it's one of the reasons I bought their product. You can't actually do a good bench press with the normal bands because they're too long. You don't get proper resistance until your arms are nearly fully extended. The "short" bands are supposed to enable additional moves, but after trying it they don't really work. With moves like bench press, you still don't get enough range of motion with good resistance to make it worth it. I'll be returning it.

So far so good... But need some time to really grade it out
Still just getting used to it but seems like could be a great alternative to free weights.. It's certainly easy to set up, minor trouble to pull off and on bands once get set up can leave more bands on than required and just leverage the ones needed for that exercise. Be cool to have a circuit workout provided by will develop one. Will take some adjustment get used to which bands and form.. But I think we'll enjoy it, hope can get results.. After two workouts, I could definitely feel it! I will recommend the heavy band set you'll surely need and then some for the simulated bench press type move. Anyway have 4 of get results will up it to 5.

Heavy band but not lasting
I got the band three weeks ago, I have had exactly 6 sessions of work out with it, and it is already breaking at the ends. $!9.99 for a rubber band and it doesn't even last one month.

Not the heavy resistance bands!
These are not the heavy extra resistance bands, simply replacement or additional standard bands (which are great), but the description could be clearer and the reviews aligned with this listing are incorrect and should be removed.

Wrong ones
These are the heavy duty ones. They are the regular ones. Be careful

Great
Great! Adds more resistance than the bands supplied with the bow
