Whole House Hard Water Filter Replacement Filter, Compatible with HSFP-20IN and HSIV-20

I use the Hansing water softener filter for almost 3 months now. The hard water white spots are significantly reduced. There are still some, but very light in color and it takes a long time to build up. It become much easier to clean too. For the price, I recommend the water filter system for the whole house. I don't have to rent monthly soft water tank anymore.

I use this filter from my all house. It works very well. The only downside is not often available.

I was a little doubtful of this system given the sulfur rich water I have but I have been very impressed. There is no change in the texture of the water typical with most systems, and the taste, as well as the color of my water has greatly improved. Its easy to install and easy to change the cartridges. Time will tell how well the system works long term, but I saw an immediate, positive change in my water.

Filter fits perfectly into the Hansing SS filter housing. Will keep plenty on hand.

Filter does not do as described

Did well to soften water from my well. Ours lasted about a month and a half

the filter does not improve the hardness of the water . it does however allow soap and shampoo to lather better. white scale still forms on pipes and fixtures bit a slower rate . a bit disappointing as I counted on the system to protect all of our utilities and fixtures. we will ahve to further treat out drinking water and may have to invest in a "real" water softener to protect all of our water realted systems ie boiler, water heater , etc.

I like that this is a carbon filter and it makes the water taste and smell better, not sure how well it softens water because I have not tested it but I can tell when it needs changed base on the amount of lime buildup. Definitely cheaper than units that state they do the same thing for twice the price.
