superb keyboard - brilliant sound and loads of features
this keyboard is truly superb having previously purchased a different make and having to return it as it was utterly rubbish i was at first very cautious about buying but this is simply brilliant no wonder it has so many good revues on Youtube

Good solid sounds, strongly built keyboard
Value for money. User friendly. Don't have to be a geek to use it.Only downside, it didn't come with british plug. Had to get adapter.

Fantastic keyboard, dodgy mains adaptor.
Brilliant keyboard, very good value for money. Sounds way better than my cheap Casio. The mains adaptor is a bit dodgy. I don't want to return the whole thing just for a replacement? It does run on batteries as well.Would be perfect if you could Bluetooth to it and use the great speakers as a stereo.

Not shipped with UK 13A plug
This is a superb keyboard but be warned: mine arrived with a 2 pin continental mains plug rather than a 13A UK 3 pin plug. The bulky power supply (see photo) is unstable and unusable with a continental-to-13A adaptor plug, keeps falling out and disconnecting. Korg UK Customer Support were surprised to learn this, and told me that their keyboards sold in the UK should absolutely be supplied with UK 13A plug adaptors. When I contacted Amazon they said there was nothing they could do, except invite me to return the whole kit for a refund!PS: since writing this review, the lovely people at Korg sent me FOC a UK adaptor.

Good but slow delivery and wrong power plug
Seems a good keyboard but delivery was slow and inbetween purchase and delivery the price went down, but not for me. The power supply unit was 2 round pin EU type plug/transformer. I think that a replacement plug should be supplied

Good quality sounds, highly accessible controls.
Excellent quality, but just like the other reviewer mentioned, after the purchase the price went down (but not for me) and the supplied power adapter was of Russian/European type, not the UK one. Nevertheless, I am very happy with the purchase. The firmware was very easy to upgrade to the latest (v2.4) version and all the functions seem to be working as described in the manual. Unlike the similarly priced Yamaha keyboards, the Korg EK-50 has all the controls more accessible, i.e. one doesn't have to go through many menu/options to do stuff which may be required during playing --- just a single button press is sufficient.

Sounds and ease of use.
I love this thing , As a keyboard player and drummer amongst other things for around 40 years . I can say for the money , this is the best all rounder one could have.
