The vendor not only sent the wrong item with an extractor attachment (that has poor reviews) but I felt they did a bait and switch with pricing. This item "was" $49 with free prime shipping. By the time they hit my credit card, they had added $10 worth of extra charges which included 2day shipping.On top of these issues, however, the product itself was not nearly as powerful as I had hoped. Vegetables didn't chop completely let alone liquefy, even with the recommended shaking and tapping methods. Frozen bananas and berries ended up half liquefied and half chunky in my smoothies as well. I might have kept this item (even with what appeared to be a bait and switch with the shipping as well the inclusion of an inferior extractor) if it had lived up to my expectations in quality. I do really like the idea of being able to make a smoothie or green power drink in the same cup you drink from. This is much quicker in cleanup as opposed to using my vita mix!! However, as I said earlier, too many things went wrong with this order and product, so I definitely set out to return it.To my surprise, I had to call in and speak with a customer service representative. This made me a little leery because I felt like they were going to give me a hard time. However, true to Amazon's amazing service, I was given a full and immediate refund, which happily included what the vendor had added for shipping. I'm going to try a 900 watt Nutra-Bullet instead.

I had high hopes for this Magic Bullet, but it did slightly dissapoint.The Good: It is the most perfect thing I can imagine for making smoothies/protein drinks/shakes. It blends up the ingredients a matter of seconds. Best of all, it makes it in the cup you're going to drink it from; thus cutting down on dirty dishes and hassle of pouring. I also love the various tops it comes with (a sipper lid, a storage lid, a shaker lid). It even comes with a bigger blender attachment if you want to make smoothies/shakes for more than just one person. I also love that you can freeze, microwave, and put the cups in the dishwasher. It is very convenient for the person who makes smoothies every day.The Bad: It does not do well as a food processor. It does not dice up foods such as chicken, fruit, cheese, etc. It just grinds the food right next to the blade into mush and doesn't touch the rest. I even tried the various shake and blend methods that the instruction booklet reccomends and it did not help.If you're blending anything with liquid in it, then the Magic Bullet is useful and convenient. But if you're expecting it to take the place of other kitchen gadgets and do everything the commercials say it can do, you will be dissapointed as I was.

We've had the magic bullet for 12-14 months and it has worked great. We used it originally to prepare organic food for our baby since store bought was so much more expensive and not a lot more than flavored mush. Our daughter loved sweet potatoes so we would bake the potatoes (the microwaves kills the nutrients) and put the potato in the Magic Bullet and add milk and blend until the potato was fully blended - that alone paid for the Magic Bullet in savings. We still use the Magic Bullet often to make smoothies, protein shakes, dressings etc. My favorite is using the bullet with milk and the liquid chocolate mix - it mixes the chocolate milk so thoroughly that it ends up with some foam through the entire drink and it tastes awesome! If you clean the items as soon as you are done with the drink, all you need to do is put some water in the cup and run the Magic Bullet a couple of times and both the cup and blades are clean.We didn't order the Baby Magic Bullet...it looks like the exact same thing but there are cups that have dial-a-dates on them or something like that. Unless you buy a LOT of these little baby cups, I really doubt anything would go bad before you feed it to your baby.I ordered four replacement gaskets because they were so cheap, but the originals seem to be very durable and I don't think we've used but one of the replacements, but do not use the Magic Bullet without the gaskets or you will end up with a mess.Cons - The plastic rings for the cups are useless. The drink would get inside the ring when you turn the cup up, and then run down the sides when you put the cup back down (minor issue, just toss the colored rings). We have also used these cups to heat water to warm baby bottles. The cups are the perfect size, however repeated microwave use/boiling left the cups brittle and they started to show cracks (did not leak though). If you do not use the gasket or do not keep the food products off the exterior of the blade portion, you will end up with food in the cracks and crevices inside the base of the Magic Bullet motor and that is a pain in the butt to clean, so take my advice and make sure to keep the blade portion clean and always make sure there is a gasket to complete the seal.

I have had the magic bullet for 2 months now & absolutely love it. I was so pleased to be able to purchase this product at the RRP from an online Seller after the product was discontinued from a well known shopping channel. I was very impressed with the excellent service I received from Gemstones the sellers. Confirmation of the delivery details was communicated by text giving you the option to change the day and time to suit you. Delivery and dispatch was prompt & delivered within the specified time frame.I unfortunately experienced a fault with the power base. However, Gemstones response were brilliant and they were very quick in sending me a replacement with no hesitation, which works perfectly and I am enjoying making my smoothies and healthy drinks. It is quick and easy to use and clean and does not take up a lot of space in the kitchen.I would highly recommend buying this this product and buying from Gemstones which has excellent customer service. I would definitely buy from Gemstones again as I have full confidence in their products and their company.D from London

Bought this product last year as a stocking filler for my wife. It lay unopened right up until approx' 6 wks ago. My wife took it out of the box, set it up and turned it on - disaster!! Loud noise and lots of smoke. Turns out that this was not UK voltage. I couldn't remember where I had ordered it from and just now discovered that I got it through Amazon. Very disappointed that there was no warnings that this was ot compatible with UK voltage. Don't know if it is too late to return or not given the time-lapse. I expect more from Amazon. It would have been very useful - no - vital to know that this was not compatible with UK voltage at time of ordering.
