Good purchase!
Good set of lights and they work well. Would like to see the light shaft to be extendable but no problem putting them on stack of books if need the light higher.

Simple and wonderful
So easy to use, made my photo flood lamps obsolete. It spreads the light evenly. If I want to dim the light, I just wrap the paper towel on it. This set comes in pair and I usually use only one light, so it should be good for long time, hopefully.

Bright, and multiple diffusing & color filters are included; but intensity not adjustable
You can vary the intensity by interposing some white paper, I guess. Probably should have spent a few more bucks and bought the adjustable one.But it works quite well for macrophotography.

Wonderful customer service! Love the light set!
My review is based on how long this item lasted until it became defective. I actually really liked the lights and the ease of use. Perfect for what I wanted them for. The problem is a few months into use and one of them has a defective cord and now the light won’t work. Big bummer since I need both lights and will now to buy more. So be prepared to purchase them again.UPDATE: I am updating my review due to the excellent customer service. My initial review was 3 stars since one of the lights stopped working. When the company realized that I was not exactly happy with the length of time that I had the lights before one became defective, they sent me a brand new set. Can't beat that!

Very bright!
These lights are handy and very bright. They are easy to pull out from storage and use. The only bad thing to mention is they slip off of my table easily and slide around if you bump them, which is easy to do when photographing small items. The reason they are slippery is their metal prongs that they stand on. Otherwise I love them & worth the $

Decent quality, bright with no adjustment, plus one ridiculously silly design flaw with the legs
The size and weight is light and portable. Filters are solid though not very diffusing (especially the white filter which should be the reason for having a white filter). The brightness is high which is useful but it might be too bright for some situations like when you're using for a Zoom meeting and the light is nearby on a desk. It's hard to have it too close it's so bight and 2 or 3 levels of brightness control would be quite helpful. The worst part is that the retractable legs are held in with a tiny plastic removable cap. This means that you have to keep track of a small, clear thing that is separate from the unit and is very easily lost. Once it's gone, it's not easily substituted by anything else and the legs will never stop flopping out. It's utterly inexcusable (and honestly a deal breaker) that the only way to keep the pointy metal legs from sliding out annoyingly is a tiny cap that can be easily lost. I concede that that this is more of a problem for professionals who need to drag these around to gigs. Still, regular folks using around the home will still have to keep track of these silly little caps.

Sooooooooo briiiiiiiight!!!!!!!!! Then, I bought the dimmable too!!!!!!
Sooooooooo briiiiiiiight!!!!!!!!! Then, I bought the dimmable too!!!!!! These are the best lights ever made, in my opinion. Our house has zero lighting built in and we’ve lived here for 5 years without great solutions, no matter how many types of lighting solutions I’ve tried in each room. I just bought I think 6 different lights to use in my den so it’s bright with the blackout curtains for filming so I can have privacy when my husband isn’t home since we live on an intersection in a big city and I get scared home alone and since all of my ho bird require a lot of light as old people lose their ability to see well under normal conditions (rme), and these are my favorite lights of all the kinds I bought for my den. My husband is using half in his den because he loved them too, so I bought the dimmable set after the bright set and we each have one of each. These lights are worth every dollar I spent on them. I will definitely buy more when we convert the other big room into a workshop as well. (We have a lot of hobbies and no kids in the house, if you’re wondering why we have so many hobby spaces lol.)

Pretty good, but, part missing... ***UPDATE*** 6-1-23
I like this, but as I removed the contents of the box I immediately saw that ONE of the white diffusers was missing. That is not a huge deal, but I'd like to be able to get what was paid for.(See update below)Anyway, aside from that, it appears that it will work just fine (otherwise) and although I have not actually used it yet, I will later today. I don't foresee any problems, as far as the clear diffuser goes, I can make one out of a gallon milk jug.I have now used it, not only do I like them, they actually made a HUGE difference in my photography.I'm REALLY happy about how well they work. For the money, this is a perfect little set-up, you can spend more to (possibly) get more, but for me, this is fine. I love how good of an idea this is, at this price point.(Really, the filters/diffusers alone are almost worth the amount that I paid)Nothing jumped out at me as being overly cheap, the diffusers are a heavy-duty plastic, I am 'pretty sure' that they can withstand the heat of the LED bulbs, (yes, I found they can after using them) I have some thin gels that can't, hence this purchase. So, if you get a good working one with all of the parts, I am pretty sure that you'll be happy.Oh yeah, I saw that some people thought that this was 'too bright'... If that is the case, place a sheet of computer paper in the filter slot, if that doesn't do it, fold it in half, do that until you get the correct brightness you need.Either that, or, bounce the light off of a piece of white colored cardboard, just use your imagination to deflect the light.***UPDATE*** 6-1-23Today, I received what I needed. I talked with them through e-mail and they said that they would send me out what I needed. Not only did they do that, but it was here in TWO DAYS!Also, I will say, they went ABOVE and BEYOND the norm aside from that, I HIGHLY recommend this company.I will definitely do business with them again, they definitely know how to treat their customers.
