This was same part on our 3.5 year old LG LFXC24726S Refigerator
This was same part on our 3.5 year old LG LFXC24726S Refrigerator. Known as a "thermistor", this part supposedly works with the main board and thermostat to control the temperature inside the unit. It is plugged into the side of the compressor on one side and connected to the rest of the system with a plug on the other end. Unfortunately, it didn't work as we evidently have a different issue. So, we contacted LG and they have scheduled a technician to come out and check the unit. Hopefully, it will be fixed under warranty as this was almost $3,000 and I've never, in my 53 years, ever had a problem with a refrigerator...ever!

Perfect fit
Perfect fit for my LG fridge. This part solved one issue but it is an LG so something else is wrong with it. Fridge is only 14 months old. Stay away from LG.

Item was perfect and well packaged
Did not fix my fridge so I have decided to replace the capacitor to see if that will fix it. Sure wished I could ask the seller if he had the capacitor to see if I could just exchange the part. Will try again using Amazon Chat but I can’t figure it out.

Saved me a new refrigerator x3
Repair man told me to trash my refrigerator. After YouTube showed me this part I tried it and my Kenmore worked again. I’ve replaced it 2 times in 2 years, but it saved me during g this time of shortage
