The Chronicles of Narnia

Narnia is a must growing up for any child. In his literary genius, CS Lewis, primarily a philosopher just creates a wonderful world within a world in which children can let loose their imagination and have wonderful characters and role models to grow up with in a creation that at the same time caters to the level of a child's comprehension at yet prepares them for the larger world in which they will soon find themselves in. I read this as an adult and it was no less fascinating for me, apart from a few sections through which I had to flip the pages in order to get to the next part of the plot. But I can imagine soaking it all in as a child, even the descriptive parts of this world of his creation. For the adults, I would massively recommend his mature books, my favorites are "the Screwtape Letters", "The Great Divorce" and his philosophical work on the "Problem of Pain".

I was searching for a good quality combination of all of the tales of Narnia. This certainly reached my expectations. With a large budget I was quite nervous that it wouldn't be the quality it seemed to be on the computer. However, it was definitely up to standard, an absolutely beautiful book. It was the most expensive book I have ever bought, but it was definitely worth it. (Expensive but this is the cheapest option.)

Loved the stories as a kid so was happy when I saw this book. Bought as an investment as I'm hoping my son will love them as much as I did. he's a little young for them at the moment. I've very happy with this book.

Beautiful book loved it

This book/collection has all of the Narnia books in this Kindle edition. It loses half a star for the basic/crude index at the start (all in capitals (looks terrible), with one or two odd naming of things going on, and no indenting of chapters beneath book titles, so is a bit of a pain to find what you want). However, all the books seem to be here, so it's worth a punt if there are gaps in your reading of the chronicles.

This was sold as Used but is in absolutely PERFECT condition. I read these stories first as an 8 yr old - I'm now 63. They still captivate and this book will be passed to grandchildren to enjoy for many years to come I'm sure. The language used may prove tricky for today's young generations but I hope they will enjoy the stories as much as I did.

A very beautiful book and a must for Narnia lovers to have all 7 Chronicles together. Highly recommend.

Nice book. It's good for adults. A bit on the heavy side as contains all volumes.

Perfect Condition.

I've read this series nearly a dozen times over my life, starting when I was about ten and greatly enjoyed it. These days, it might not be as exciting as it used to be, especially for the younger generation, but I still highly recommend it for all. Highly enjoyable to read as an adult as well.
