This weather stripping was just what I was looking for to weather proof my old doors. The doors are not an exact shape so they are very drafty. This weather stripping did just the trick. The sticky on the back is very sticky - but I used staples as well to make sure it would hold. I definitely recommend this product and I will probably buy more soon to do the rest of the house!

I expected this product to be that rough bristle-like material as I've seen on some doorways in the past. It is advertised as brush weather stripping, and it appears to be so by the (very) magnified photo. However, it's actually quite like a velour material, in my opinion. Due to the fact that this was delivered on a windy, chilly day and I had already removed the old cracked prior weatherstripping, I installed it. Installation was straightforward, product stuck easily to the door molding, and it was very simple to manipulate to the not at all level older, outside door. Gaps covered, no sunlight shining through. The issue is the material provides no insulation at all. Yes, the gap is covered. However, it provides zero additional protection against the weather.

Item worked perfect to seal airgap between sliding glass doors produced when dog door was installed.

Product appears to be too tightly packaged. It contains a coil of material that has been intentionally squashed. As a result there are many delaminations where both the adhesive strip and the adhesive cover paper have separated from the pile base.

Perfect for 'filling in' an area that needed additional protection. Super easy to apply.
