RIOGOO Pet Heating Pad, Electric Heating Pad for Dogs and Cats Indoor Warming Mat with Auto Power Off (M:18" x 18")

Here's my review of the Rigoo dog heating pad:I have a Chihuahua mix that is about 14 pounds. She just loves to lay in the sun or anywhere there is heat. Her first heating pad was another brand and has held up, but I found it annoying that it would not turn off automatically. This heating pad not only lets you set the temperature, it also allows you to set the shut off time, up to six hours. And if you just turn it on, you know that it will turn itself off in six hours. But you can also set the time for much shorterFor my dog, that's perfect. I don't have to worry about it being left on and she primarily uses it in the morning and in the evening. It comes with two covers, I just use the thin blue one. Every once in a while, I just throw it in the wash.The main difference with these dog heating pads compared to a human heating pad Is in the cord. Both of mine have a really tough exterior wrapping around most of the cord in case your dog is a chewer. Fortunately, my pup is not a chewer. But I decided to see how tough these wrappings really are. I took a pair of channel locks and squeezed as hard as I could on the very end of the cord wrap. It did not break on either one of them nor did it crack👍In summary, I really like this heating pad. It comes in a couple different sizes I believe. If your dog is under 15 pounds, the small one will probably do the job. It may even fit a dog up to 20 pounds. When you turn it on, it sets itself to 130°, which is a little bit too warm for my pup. If you put the fleece cover on, it probably won't be that warm. I did check the temperature with one of those handheld temp "guns." It was fairly accurate, though the cover that you have on the pad reduces the heat quite a bit.For what it's worth, my dog seems to prefer around 110 to 115° on both of her pads. If you use one of those sticky pet hair rollers, that does a great job cleaning up dog hair. I do recommend you use something like that or a vacuum cleaner BEFORE Putting it in the washing machine, otherwise you may receive complaints about residual dog hair in the washing machine 😉If your dog really likes heat, or if your dog is older and needs the comfort of heat, I don't think you're going to go wrong with the Rigoo heating pads. They have a lot of positive reviews which seem to be legit. I'm impressed with the product Quality and, while her other heating pad works as well, I like the fact that the Rigoo gives you more control over the time that it is on.

Bought this for my elderly cat. Love that I can set the heater for several hours at a time and increase or decrease the temperature. Best of all, my old girl loves it. Good quality and great features. Would buy again.

This is a great heating mat for my cats! They love it ! I put it in my catio that I have connected to my window and they love it! It is easy to set up and I love that you can schedule the hours to stay on! It shuts off after your desired hours. Works great I bought another one for another window! Great purchase

The media could not be loaded.  Well, the good news is that there’s more to like about this heating pad than not, but marginally. I like how the display shows the temp setting in real numbers. I like that it has a timer and that it’s set at a reasonable default setting of 6 hours. But I don’t like how the default temp setting is set to 120. 120 is just insanely high, I mean if I was using it outdoors in the snow then maybe, but again 120 to me just seems way too high for a default setting (this just means you have to readjust the setting down to where you want it, but you only have to do this after it’s been unplugged (which is the only time it loses the last setting change, and it does keep the last setting if it stays plugged in, but if not will revert back up to 120).That’s about the only thing I don’t like, which I'll admit is kind of minor. But I’d like it better if it instead started out on the lowest setting which is where I usually have it. And, I’d like it even more than that if it went down past its current lowest setting of 80 down to 75 or even 70 because although when it’s cold she, my old little cat Chica, is indeed on it most of the time, but there has been some times when I’ve seen her off to the side of it when the ambient temp is not so cold and also probably because the pad temp is just a little too warm, but nonetheless is set to its lowest setting.Other than that, it seems well made and is working well at keeping warm one happy and fury little customer. It comes with a zippered removable jacket/cover, but I keep another thin pad from an old heater on top of it not only to keep its main jacket cleaner but also to help disperse the hot spots from the inner heating cables a little better. Other past heaters I’ve had like this don’t seem to last more than 2 to 3 seasons or about two years before they go caput. Overall, it seems like a pretty good pad with more to like than not. I’ve had this one in use a couple of months now so if I get another year or two of trouble-free service out of it, I’ll figure I’ve got my money’s worth and that it was a good value.

If you have a furbaby that likes to always stay warm, this is the product for you! It has a temperature control, but only heats up when the weight of the furbaby is on top of it. Once they get off, it turns itself off. The cover is removable so it can be washed. There is a hard chew-resistant cover over most of the cord. I can't say anything negative about this pet warming pad. I highly recommend it & I would buy it again.

I keep my bedroom cool in the winter. These pads fit their beds perfectly. They are a good quality product. Will keep my dogs warm on cold nights.

We bought one of these a few months ago and it could be set for a maximum of 12 hours. Our pets liked it so much and fought over it so we got a second one. The new one can be set for 24 hours - so cool! Needless to say that this is so worth the money considering we bought a second one even when it was 12 hour max
