Works as described, and more durable that others
I purchased this as a replacement for the first one as that one was way too large. Surprised that this fit my Canon R5 with 70-300mm IS EOS lens plus the adapter for R-series. Used it at Niagra Falls, and had no issues with it. May try it with the Tamron 150-600mm lens on same camera next time, see if it works for that as well. Says small, but to me it is NOT small.

Invaluable Gear
This rain cover saved my Peru trip, as it was raining for the first two hours at Machu Picchu. I wouldn't have been able to shoot without it, and it worked wonderfully. Only downside is that I bought the smaller one when my longest lens was only 24-120mm (which was still a little too big for the cover when extended to 120mm), and certainly too big for the 100-400mm I purchased later. Will be purchasing the larger one.

First impressions
Well made. The end that goes over the lens seals better than any bag I've used. It has this grippy material so it doesn't slide around the lens hood. Then a sturdy Velcro strap that tightens it down snuggly. I film hurricanes and typhoons for a living and that has been my biggest issue. I have a Sony A7SIII and A1. The clear plastic is centered a little more right but I can still see the LCDscreen. The hotshot attachment keeps the bag from sliding everywhere. Good idea unless you want to use the hotshot Sony Mic. Still if it's raining audio is not the priority for me, I can capture another way, internal mic will work. The space on the sides is enough to get my hands in there to work the settings. With a 24-105 lens the bag is longer than I need. All bags are that way it seems. I'd like to see a model from think tank that has sleeves for my hands too. All in all I like this cover a lot. I'll update after a storm and let you know.

Better than the plastic sleeves, much more affordable than the full blown covers
I find the plastic sleeves to be a bit tight and I wanted something better. I have no doubt the full blown ThinkTank covers are good but I just don't need a rain cover that much. When they announced this one, the price for the small was cheap enough to warrant giving it a go. Not disappointed at all! It's compact (I have the small for my Fuji kit.) and fits over any of my cameras and lenses combos. The window is good and the flexibility of options for positioning the cover is great. They really thought this one out well.

Could have been great
It was way too big for the Sony RX10 IV. When the lens retracted, the fabric got caught and the lens made a clicking noise. I just hope no permanent damage has been done to my camera. The back end of rhe cover is great. The lens end is huge in diameter and length. They need to make an extra small version.

Great fit on Canon R5.
I bought both the small and medium sizes. The small fits my Canon R5 with 28-70mm f2 as well as the 70-200mm f2.8. The medium fits my 100-500mm. They fold small and easily stores into my backpack.

Quality product with no flaw
It fits my Sony A7 iii with 24 to 70 G master lens perfectly. Two brilliant designs that stand out from others: 1. Build-in Hotshoe insert that keeps the cover in place. 2. Big transparent window at the back to enable camera viewing and operating.

May seem like overkill until you really need it
The Think Tank 6180 Photo Emergency Rain Shield lets you take photos when you otherwise would have to stay indoors. The rain shield may seem like overkill until you really need it. This is a great alternative to purchasing a weather proof camera. I haven't tried using this product in very cold temperatures yet.

Absolute Empfehlung!!!

A lot better than a plastic bag with a hole
Ok you can just stuff your camera in a plastic bag with a hole cut into it ... and for the number of times I'm out in a downpour taking images many people would say that would do the job. However having twice had my "waterproof" lens and camera glitch out in a downpour (and thankfully revive after being given time to dry) I decided I preferred to be a bit safer. This is a lot sturdier than a plastic bag and more conveniently shaped. It has an attachment to fit on the flash holder on top of your camera which stops it sliding around. I found that an immediate advantage over the plastic bag approach. It has adjustable straps to tighten around the end of your zoom lens and stretched the length of the lens. Another immediate advantageIt has a slightly harder plastic viewing area so you can if you wish see the screen/viewfinder through the rain cover. It seems robust and comes / packs away into a small pouch that fits in my camera bag. Will being stored packed leave creases in the plastic that degrade performance? Will the plastic deteriorate over time? I don't know yet but my guess looking at it is 'not too badly'.It's a matter of personal preference. I feel it worth the money even for the small number of times I've used it so far. You may, or may not.I can't compare against other products that do the same thing, I've not tried them... but this one does the job well enough.Only negative I can think of, I chose the small size and even that feels a tad larger than ideal ... but its not a problem
