Totepack Waterproof Lightweight Backpack Shoulder Bags for Men Women Unisex Day Bag (LEAF GREY)

I just carried this one a "test" trip as my overnight bag (I am an extreme minimalist) in prep for it to be my day bag for Europe next month, and it passed with flying colors. I wanted something that is a shoulder bag but can convert to backpack if I do a lot of shopping. This fits the bill. the backpack mode is not the most comfortable in the world but it is far less sporty/casual looking than other backpacks. it works best as over the shoulder or handheld. The leather look handles are very soft and the carmel color makes it look like a much more expensive bag. The zippers seem fine, I like the inner zipper pocket because I don't carry a wallet. There isn't a bottle holder but the outer pocket carries a small water bottle. Overall a great dealJust got back from a trip to france and this is one great bag. Looks much classier than a backpack or my former go to bag, the Patagonia Travel Tote. it wasn't too girly for my husband to carry, and the tote straps made it go where backpacks are frowned on like museums. It rained a lot and nothing got wet. also, and this may be minor, its size is perfect to sit next to your legs in the passenger seat of a small rental car. I love this bag!

I recently returned to work after raising my family and was looking for something that would allow me to carry my laptop, small purse, lunch, and other necessities. I often ride my bike or walk to work so I would move all my things to a backpack on those days, and then move things back into a professional looking shoulder bag on days that I drove or got a ride. Why not always leave things in the backpack? I hate the look of most backpacks and they tend to be too bulky for the things I needed to carry.When I discovered that tote packs existed, I knew that's exactly what I needed. The ability to carry it as a backpack some of the time but to use it as a shoulder bag most of the time and thus leave everything in one bag all the time! My search caused me to stumble upon this product and I purchased without any hesitation.I love this bag! It will hold my 12" laptop (It would hold a 15" without zipping the top if you needed it to!) plus my lunch, notebook, purse, a light sweater, and still doesn't look stuffed. The adjustable back strap slides easily from tote to backpack mode. The small leatherette handles are really great because they are comfortable and don't dig into my hands on those days I might have overloaded the bag a little.My only complaint is I wish it had more pockets/organization on the inside. Maybe a pocket on the inside for an umbrella or water bottle, and a slip pocket for the laptop. But the upside to being a basic tote is that you can organize it the way you want, and since many of us already have cases or other ways of compartmentalizing our stuff, you may not find you need anything more.Some people have commented that it's hard to get the backpack on without the straps slipping. This is true if you put it on one strap at a time. I've found it works perfectly to draw down both backpack straps, hold each strap with the hand that will go through it, and then swing the bag around while holding onto each strap. Since I"m not using it primarily as a backpack, this works great for me. I love having a bag that is functional and attractive and being able to carry it on both shoulders at the end of the day for my walk home. I would absolutely buy this again and am even considering it as a gift for some people in my life.

I ordered this Totepack right before a trip to Italy and it was PERFECT. No matter what situation I was in, I could use it in the most comfortable way for me at that moment. Quick switch from handheld, shoulder straps, or backpack. It looks great and I get asked about where I got it all the time! I've kept right on using it daily ever since I got back home and I love it for everyday use just as much as I did for traveling.

I love this bag. It's a super simple bag that looks great too! I use it for my laptop but I should mention there is no padding whatsoever so if you're looking for a bag to protect your laptop this isn't it. I don't use it for long periods of time and I tend to be quite careful so it works for me. You can, however, purchase a laptop sleeve to add to the bag. When I'm done using the bag I can fold it and store it away. Great for the price!

Works well. Might have been interesting to have notches or clips to help centre the straps when in backpack 'mode', but for the price I really can't complain.Front zipper had issues the moment it arrived, but luckily top zipper worked. Time will tell for durability.

I really like it. It's lightweight, roomy, but more comfortable to wear as a backpack than on the shoulder. The straps kept sliding off but I have small shoulders. It's also really cute and I got several compliments when I took it on a trip. The lining ripped slightly after 1 day, but other than that I have no complaints.

Not sure if its waterproof but its a great bag! I plan to bring it to London with my later in the year for my carry on. Love that you can wear it different ways and its stylish as well!

I received the wrong bag. In the pictures it has to straps that you pull to make into backpack straps. This one has backpack straps. It also smells really bad. The bag is really sturdy and looks nice. But I can't get passed the smell and its not the one I ordered. So its being returned.
