Well worth the money
I was concerned in case they did not fit but no worries, fit perfectly and I followed the advice and bought one size larger (I have wide feet) so with socks a really good fit. Waterproof so excellent for light gardening work; I have not used them for digging i.e. not with a spade or fork . Only drawback, collects pebbles on the soles but not really a problem just a bit irritating if I wear them into the kitchen. Overall very pleased.

Great shoes!
I've just ordered my second pair of these. The first pair lasted me 6 1/2 years, being worn almost every day to tend to my chickens or work in the garden. The backs recently split on them, but that is probably due to me sometimes not putting my feet in them properly if I'm just popping out for a couple of minutes. I think they'd have lasted at least twice as long if I'd not stood on the backs of them in this way! Well worth the money.

Nice garden shoes - I bought a size smaller than my wellies (mine came with black soles)
My old cut-down wellie clogs just "gave up the ghost" - I used them all the time when at home - so I looked around for something similar. I considered several options including black Crocs (expensive) and other garden shoes (comparable). These hit the sweet-spot for me in terms of price, quality & features. Happily, I think I made a good choice.Unlike the picture, my Dunlop gardening shoes came with black soles - which is fine, they have nice big, deep grips which is an important but often overlooked feature - invaluable in snow & slippery mud. They slip on pretty easily but I need my hands to get the back on (unlike my old cut-down wellie clogs) but I expected that, it is a small inconvenience for the benefit of a more secure & more waterproof fit.Fit: My feet are wide rather than long.I normally wear size UK 11/ EU 46 wellies with thick winter socks and extra insoles, so I figured I'd probably be able to get away with a smaller size with these (as suggested by some earlier reviewers). It worked well for me: the shoes are a near perfect fit - albeit with no room to spare on width and maybe 0.5cm on length; my feet are wide rather than long. For shoes, I normally wear UK 10.5/11 = EU45, mainly for the width. The Dunlop shoes are marked UK 10/EU 44 ( I normally avoid shoes under 45 but these fit, just).Shoes sizes: shoes sizes are inconsistent. Tables comparing UK v EU v. USA v... are inconsistent. With that in mind, I would say the sizing on these is probably fairly accurate, perhaps just a tad large, as might be expected for a wellie.

Good fit.
I was pleased with the fit on these - usually I find in wellies that I have to go up a size which is too much, but I took a chance on these and they were a good-sized six so I can wear thicker socks with them with a snug fit resulting. Ideal for to-ing and fro-ing in a wet or winter garden or to the bins, but definitely not for walking any real distance. They seem hardwearing so far and not too thin.

Instead of Full Size Welly's
My wife decided to get a pair of 'cut-down' welly's for dog-walking or gardening & when I saw how useful they could be decided to try a men's pair as the boot's she chose didn't go up to my feet size. These appeared to fit the bill so made a purchase and have worn them a couple of times. I wear them with the normal slightly thicker welly sock and the fit is the same as for a full-size welly. They are quick to put on and take off and did the job I wanted of them.Obviously I can't comment on how long they'l last as I've only worn them twice but they are a good price and do what I wanted from them hence the 5 star rating.

short wellies
I find my legs are too fat for ordinary wellies and now I am riddled with arthritis it would be nearly impossible to struggle into a pair anyway so these are perfect for gardening or just hanging the washing - apart from one thing. If I had realised they were a small fitting I would have gone up a size. I cant get socks on with them apart the thin nylon kind. The tread is good on them and perfect for walking. I would certainly buy again but go up a size - I usually wear size 6 D fitting.

Ideal for the garden
These are ideal garden shoes and I'm pleased I ordered them. I couldn't find anything suitable in the shops (mainly rigid clogs) which is odd considering we're supposed to be a nation of gardeners. I knew it was risky ordering footwear online so I trawled through all the reviews carefully first.1. Fit - I'm normally a 5.5 but the 5 is just long enough though wider than the average shoe as you'd expect a wellie to be. I think a 6 would have been too big and easily slipped off and got left behind in the flowerbed!2. Comfort - Very comfortable and flexible as they have soft upper edges which don't rub on the heels or the top of the foot, whilst the main shoe part is like a normal wellie.3. Convenience - Easy enough to slip on without hands if you push your foot well inside and forwards first - just takes a little bit of wiggling but on the whole it works fine!4. Sturdy soles, so hopefully they'll have longevity, though the deep ridges will probably get filled with mud.Delivery was efficient, took 2 days from order to dispatch, and received them 48 hours later. Overall a very good seller and product.

Strong garden shoes with backs
Very pleased to find these sturdy gardening shoes at a reasonable price to replace my old 'Baudou' brand, which I was unable to find anywhere - locally there was nothing available except backless clogs or v expensive Hunters. I really do need a back on them for gardening or walking on wet grass. The size 7 is bigger than my 7 trainers, but I had expected this as I'm female and these shoes are unisex - worn with a thicker sock they'll be fine. The photo on Amazon showed cream/beige soles, however my soles are black. While this isn't really a problem for me in this case, I was a bit annoyed as I do expect photos to be accurate.
