This is the second time I’ve bought this mannequin head. They both came the same and I absolutely love the quality of them ! I’ve lightened and colored her and styled her many times and there is very light shedding ! The mannequins hair smelt kind of weird when i first got it but I think it may have been from the plastic she was shipped in because the second one was fine. But overall this is a great mannequin head and I’m very impressed because of the quality and the the price. It really is a great deal! If your looking for the best mannequin head on amazon this is absolutely it !!!

Got the Hairingrid Mannequin Head for my granddaughter for Christmas - she loves it!! she is 9 yrs. old but loves to play with hair & she's incredibly talented with hair styling (braiding etc.) The hair on the mannequin is human hair & makes a difference from the synthetic hair on others - very pleased with this purchase

If youre buying the mannequin for bleaching purposes i would choose a different one. This is not 100% real hair. I believe it to be half real and half synthetic so bleaching doesnt give a full lift. If youre using the mannequin for non high-heat related thing or bleaching this would be a good mannequin to use

It was exactly what I expected!!

I’ve purchased two of these doll heads for use in my cosmetology school class. I’ve styled using heat with no problem. I used permanent hair color with 40 volume developer to lighten the hair and the hair lightened & felt fine afterwords. The dolls that I’ve received have been human hair and so far they’ve been great. I will say that I have used these dolls mostly for cutting & have not used them for excessive heated styling. I’ve had other dolls in the past that I’ve used heat on over & over & over & over again & they seemed fine at first, but became unusable after a short about of time of cosmetology school hair abuse. I don’t know how this doll would hold-up under those circumstances. I’ve learned that it definitely helps if you wash your dollheads with cold water & try to make sure the hair is washed in its natural falling position. Also, it helps if you use good products to wash & condition your dollhead. It will only cost you a few extra dollars, but it will save you time combing out your dolls & money when you don’t have to replace them. Lastly, this dollhead is a little small, but it is not like a five year old. It has younger facial features (like 18-20yr old) , but the head itself is not outside of the range of normal human heads. It is similar no to the size of my adult sister who has a small, but very normal head😊.

I like the length and density of this manniquin. I felt like ordering this was taking a gamble after reading all the reviews about lice eggs. My head didn't have any fortunately but this is common even in the more expensive ones. Hind sight being 20/20, I would have opted for a different head. I lightened the hair and lost a good majority of it in the process- it looked like it was partially synthetic which bothers me as its advertised as 100% human. Some of the hairs even melted on my low heat iron- another indication of some synthetic fillers. You get what you pay for! But even after all the hair loss I had, it still looks decent and has plenty of hair to work with.

Worth it

Borought as Christmas gift for my 12 year old as she loves to do hair. She loves it. In fact her 16 year old sister plays with it just as much. It is very good quality. It does shed a bit of hair, but so do my girls and girlfriend. My daughters grandfather got her the multi-colored and longer haired doll from another company. The girls both said this one is much better. Curling iron works better and hair is much higher quality. Good choice for practicing hair do’s.

Tiene una cara muy bonita he visto varios maniquis con caras muy feas , el cabello muy suave y limpio pero lo malo es q trae muy poco y cuesta hacer los peinados para mi quedaría perfecta con un poco más de cabello y así le daría las 5 estrellas sin duda alguna, la volvería a comprar si es que me aseguran que tiene más cabello.

El largo del cabello no es lo que estan promocionando, maniqui de baja calidad
