I was looking at getting one of these for sometime as i used to have a peephole in my old house, but now i had moved there wasnt one so seemed an ideal time to get one, I looked around and seen this which looked quite nice and was within my price range. The setup took a few goes with the pairing but after this was complete the rest was simple to install. The app shows me who is at the front door and alerts me if there is any detection, usually the postman first thing.The LED lights between Red and Blue and Pink depending on what it detects or if someone rings the bell, I love the bell styles and REALLY loud, gave me fright as it rings as soon as it is plugged in. The detection and battery life is showed on phone which you can set to notify or call the phone to alert you to check the app and view live footage or scroll back to check the detection times highlighted in red on the timeline. Also included is an 8GB SD card inside the battery cover.If you have an existing doorbell transformer you can use this instead of the batteries (2x18650 rechargables which are included) to connect to the mains (transformer) and then you dont have to worry about charging it. Charging took a few hours to ensure they were fully charged before plugging in to front door. to remove just unscrew the security screw and connect a micro USB to charge them then simply hook back onto the faceplate and security screw back on.I have to say i love this and using the app you can simply click GO Live on it to view your camera.

Disconnects constantly, re-chargeable battery supplied runs out really quickly, only worked properly for the first 2 weeks. The video quality is great, pity the thing doesnt work!!

I received the doorbell in good time. It took a while to set up because no unstructions included. Managed with the help of a YouTube video. Camera works okay with a decent picture but the response when using the app is too slow. The PIR is hit and miss and is set off with bright sun so it informs me that there is activity at the door when there isn't. I have had the doorbell for 1 week and the battery indicator shows half power so I think six months is an exaggeration. I guess you get what you pay for.

I bought this on the basis on receiving the highest ratings and feedback but it didn’t live up to expectations. Fairly easy to set up and works fine when testing around the house but failed to work when I was at work. Got someone at home to press the doorbell and notifications were hit and miss...and the picture never refreshed! Pointless. The only product that seems to be functional is the Nest but that comes at a hefty price tag and additional cost if you don’t already have an existing hard-wired doorbell. Still pondering on the next step.

Pros:1) Everything needed is included inside the box (apart from the micro usb cable) and most importantly, the batteries are included. These are not your typical AA batteries, as these are special, 18650 type rechargeable batteries.2) The instruction manual is great. It has all the necessary instructions listed and is easy to follow with.3) The doorbell is made out of plastic, but is still very sturdy.4) The sensors on the doorbell are hidden and compliment the rest of the design well.5) Camera wise, you will get a wide angle lens which shoots 720p which from your phone looks great! You need to keep in mind that you will see this from a small screen since the app does not utilise the full phone screen.6) The speakers on the doorbell are also great and are very clear. They give out clear audio to anyone, for example, outside you house.7) The microphone on the doorbell is also very great. You can hear everything said perfectly and is very clear.8) Batteries can be recharged from the doorbell itself. There is no need to take them out.9) If the back cover is removed, you will get notified on the app which is a great feature to have. You can rest assured that no one will steal it.10) The doorbell can work on even 1 battery. This is also very good to see so if one goes out, and the other still has juice, it can still work.11) The external ringer works well and connects to the doorbell very easily. There is also a pretty long range for it to work, around 10m from the doorbell which is great to see. (If you want it to work all the time, put it close to the doorbell)12) There are 2 buttons in the app to record footage and take pictures which is great to have.13) Night mode works very well and makes use of the Infrared sensor on the front next to the lens.Cons:1) The ring button is cheaply made and feels cheap when pressed.2) Sometimes, when ringing the doorbell, it does not ring your phone. This is a major con as it happened to me countless times, but after the initial 20-ish mins of use, it fixed itself and started ringing my phone every time.3) The video quality suffers a lot in recordings and does not save in good enough quality.4) Motion detection barely worked, and when it did work, it was too sensitive. I did toggle the different settings but none of them worked.All in all, a pretty good doorbell, but considering the cons, some people might be put off from buying it. I would suggest giving it a chance and if it does not live up to your expectations, return it. But if you are close to a wifi router, this will work very well most of the time, so you should keep that in mind.

I bought it since I knew my neighbor installed her new camera doorbell. It looks so good. But her video and picture only show in a fixed screen, not in her mobile. There are so many different camera doorbells in amazon. It is difficult to make a decision to buy which one. I just picked up one at the price of around 100 pounds. Just a few days I got my new doorbell. It is easy and quick to set up and install it in my front door. Its app is very easyThe quality is super good! The quality of picture or video is very clear in my mobile. The picture can cover my whole front garden as showed in the picture. It is very sensitive to detect any change happened in my front garden. for example, one day one cat climbed on top of the skip, my phone was ringing, I opened to check what happened in my front garden, it showed my neighbor's cat jumped on top of the skip, my kids laughed about it. Now I will know any changes in my front door at any time, especially, before Christmas, I never missed any parcels. I’m so pleased. Thanks a million and very good deal.
