Does what it says on the pack. But what ever you do DO NOT throw them down the toilet unless you want to block it and pay for a plumber to fix the problem! Throw them away in a bag with your rubbish.

Have used these for quite a number of years and then they suddenly became hard to find in the shops. I was very glad to find them on Amazon as they are by far the best toilet wipes I have used - nice fragrance, clean effectively and best of all, do NOt leave the loo seat feeling "sticky" like other brands I've tried. I NEVER flush them down the loo, however, having been advised by a plumber that only loo paper (which is designed to disintegrate) should be put down the loo particularly if you live in a modern house where pipes are very narrow!

I used to love these wipes but recently had a blockage in the waste pipe and had to call a plumber to investigate. The first thing he asked was "do you use wipes? I didn't know what he meant so he said "Baby wipes? Parozone Wipes?" I told him that indeed we did use Parozone wipes and he said 2Ah, that'll be your problem then".If anything gets into a pipe and causes even the smallest blockage the wipes catch on it and build up into a solid damp soggy mess that completely blocks the pipe. This is because they don't degrade like normal toilet tissue. It cost £150 to have the blockage removed! I contacted Jeyes, the parent company of Parozone to let them know and got a not very helpful reply saying that their testing showed that the wipes "can pass through unblocked pipes"Misleading advertising added to awful customer service means that sadly I won't be using these again!
