Very high quality. It is not loud. The maple rungs are beautiful. It arrives fully assembled. Just plug it in. It’s expensive but I absolutely think it’s worth the money if you plan to use it. I love to hate this workout everyday!

The product is an absolutely amazing workout. However October till April I have had to replace 2 parts and 1 required a tech company. They offer a warranty on parts and their customer service is absolutely amazing especially if you talk to Steve. But overall 2 breakdown totaling 3 weeks of no use is just crappy equipment in my opinion. 1 of the runs broke while I was on it and I’m only 195 pounds 5 foot 8’ and the second breakdown was the tension cable again while I was on it.

I love this ladder. It provides a great full body workout, your heart will race within minutes, and you’ll feel the burn immediately. It’s a great concept and well worth 5 stars, but I’m docking it down to 4 because of 2 things. Shipping wasn’t the greatest and there were logistics issues with UPS. It took 3 weeks to get the machine delivered because UPS kept dropping the ball on when they said they’d deliver. The second thing is there is a horrible, pungent, and nauseating odor coming from the machine. It’s been like that since we uncrated it. We can’t pinpoint what it is but it’s a mix between machinery exhaust and grease/oil fumes. I tried reaching out to the sellers and got no response so I don’t know if I have a faulty machine or if that’s how it’s supposed to be — I doubt it’s the latter since no one has commented on an odor so far. Whatever the case, i thought it would dissipate so I kept it in my home gym for 2.5 weeks. It made the room it was in, an adjacent room, and a nearby hallway reek. It got to a point where the odor became so unbearable that we moved it to the garage to “air out.” It’s been in there for nearly 2 months and still smells. I love the machine but it’s virtually unusable because you’re breathing in crud during your workout. I wish the seller would get back to me about a solution.

The machine is a beauty but the packaging was not. The complete right side is scuffed up and dented up like the machine had fell on it’s side. At $4,300, I need a flawless product. This looks like an open box item.

The Gronk edition is a well built solid addition to our gym. The members love it! A great value & important piece of equipment for any facility.

Don’t get me wrong, it isnt an easy workout. But you can definitely feel it working. Start slow and work up a bit each time

Let me start by stating that this is a unique and special item. I purchased this equipment for home use. I was looking for something to help me train for high altitude mountain hiking, so was looking for strength training and endurance building exercise. I was initially looking for a stair mill, which is how I accidentally discovered Jacob's Ladder (same manufacturer offers a stair mill). After watching plenty of YouTube videos, I was sold on the Jacob's ladder. If you could combine a treadmill, exercise bike, elliptical and stair mill all in one, you would start getting close to what the Jacob's Ladder can do. After I decided on the Ladder, I then had to decide on which model. Initially, I knew there was a commercial model and a home use model called the Jacob's Ladder 2. They are the same, except for the following: Jacob's Ladder * 31.25" wide (does not fit through residential doorways) * display is energized by a generator/battery pack powered by the movement of the machine * has solid wood ladder rungs Jacob's Ladder 2 * 27.25" wide (fits through residential doorways) * display is energized by a 110V wall outlet * has steel ladder rungs with polyurethane sleeves I was ready to choose the Jacob's Ladder 2 because I need the narrower frame, but I was disappointed that I would have to settle for the steel/poly ladder rungs. After all, the rungs are your interface with the machine, and the idea of grabbing natural solid wood seemed much more appealing than steel & plastic. And then I discovered the Gronk Edition from Gronk Fitness Products, and it became the obvious choice. It is basically the Jacob's Ladder 2 with solid wood rungs. It is the perfect combination of features and well worth the nominal additional cost of the Jacob's Ladder 2. This model is exclusively available from Gronk Fitness Products. Although I had not previously purchased from them, after about 30 seconds on the phone with Dan it was pretty obvious that this was a first class operation. This is a big ticket item, and I got a lot more comfortable knowing I was now dealing with a group of world class professionals - and that made the difference. Dan took all the time I needed on the phone to review the equipment with me, answer my questions, and without any pressure. Next day I called back to place an order. After that, he communicated with me several times regarding shipping and instructions for getting started once the equipment arrive. Bottom line is that this is an amazing fitness machine and you're dealing with an outstanding seller. I would highly recommend the Jacob's Ladder Gronk Fitness Edition.

I use Jacob's ladder machine at my YMCA. I start climbing and in a couple of minutes, I will start to sweat, and I need a minute rest. I usually repeat 2 min exercise and 1 min rest 5-6 times. Overall in twenty minutes, I get a great workout. + It's not impactful at all, unlike running/jogging. + It's very easy to use compared to other cardio equipment, there is no technique to learn. Some times I use rowing machines (another choice for non-impactful, but effective cardio), but using rowers involves a good amount of learning rowing techniques. + After Jacob's ladder workout I feel it in my Core too - not many cardio exercises give that feeling. + Overall very effective.
