In Japanese, "Bokashi" means "fermented organic material”.The Bokashi method in the airtight "composter" is a super fast acidification process. That is why what is "forbidden" on "normal" compost is also allowed here:Cooked food, fish, dairy products etc. Simply sprinkle the microorganism ferment supplied, it accelerates the process, which is accompanied by an acidic aromatic smell, similar to that of mild raw sauerkraut. No foul odours. Occasionally drain the seeping liquid at the outlet and use diluted as liquid fertiliser. Or pour it down the drain as an organic drain cleaner, this keeps the pipes clear. You can add the "Bokashi" collected to your compost as an accelerator or convert it directly into humus (buryin soil for approx. 3 weeks).
