Ordered this unit to fix a charging issue in my 2004 Merc 90hp 4stroke. Plug and play ready to go.

Has worked very well on my 2000 Yamaha 80 so far (20hrs+ since install). The OEM part had a slide-in slot from the edges for the 2 bolts, this one just has 2 holes. Not a big deal but a little more difficult to get the far bolt in (tight space). For the price point compared to the OEM part, you can beat it!

Installed on a Yamaha 100hp 4-stroke outboard. Original regulator caught fire and melted. After a lot of research I decided to go aftermarket because of cost and also reliability. This new regulator works great, tested all voltage and it's clean and to specs. Will run this hard for a couple months in the hot summer and update the review.

The product worked well. I installed it in July 2018 and my 100hp runs properly now.Pretty close to an exact fit. No issues. Wondering how long it will last for but it appears to be built solid.
