This mat performs well enough. I do like how well it grips the ground, but discovered its "grippiness" was a bit of a problem during my actual practice. When doing flows, my skin tends to stick, making balancing and smooth transitions difficult.Apart from that, this mat is certainly more heavy-duty and durable than your standard Walmart or Target mat, and performs well.

I am a yoga instructor, so I was looking for a heavier mat that doesn't slide. The weight of this mat is nice, I like the rubber on the under side, but, unfortunately, the top purple side is soft and makes my hands slide. I have to constantly catch myself and reposition my hands in downward dog.

Great mat! This is my fourth mat in 5 years and I am hoping that this one will last longer than my previous ones. I have already used the mat several times in the past two weeks and it has met my expectations..it is non-slip, sturdy, provides both cushioning and support. While there is a slight rubbery smell, which I expected based on the reviews and the company's website info, the odor has begun to dissipate. The fact that the mat is environmentally-friendly is an added bonus as is the company's warranty. I highly recommend this mat!

Good mat but they should NOT advertise it as a non slip mat. Do not buy if you are looking for s non slip mat.

I was looking for a thicker mat to protect my sensitive spine but was worried because I love inversions. I didn't want to compromise my wrists.This mat is the perfect balance between comfort and stability. It was a great choice for what I was looking for. Plus it comes with a handy strap for carrying. Which is good because it is a bit heavier than the typical yoga mat. totally worth it!

Not holding up to my expectations. Only used it 5 times and it appears to be bruising. Would not recommend this product

I've had several yoga mats throughout my yoga journey so far and this one is absolutely the best hands down!! This mat comes ready to unroll and jump right on in with your yoga practice! I was like a little kid at Christmas as the comfort and security of this mat actually made me want to do MORE yoga!! Seller's attention to detail and lifetime warranty are an excellent touch! Very happy yogi! :-)

Awesome mat! Very grippy even though I sweat a lot. One thing I did not expect is that it is somewhat loud as your rub against it while wet.
