Style:1.5 lb Nichrome 80 has a maximum operating temperature of 1180°C (2150°F). It has good corrosion resistance, good oxidation properties, and very good form stability. The corrosion resistance is good except in sulphur containing atmospheres. It is ideal for lower temperature applications such as: heating elements (hair dryers, ovens, toasters, kilns), heat sealers, polly cutters, foam cutters, resistors, rheostats, current-temperature controls, lab inoculating loops, release mechanisms, and ceramic support in kilns. very good product at a great price
I buy this wire to make coils to vape with and it works wonderfully. The price is also awesome so I will definitely be back for more when I need it.

Gunk cleans off better
I notice ni80 cleans a bit better than kanthal, it doesn't hold gunk and no rust... yet
