Buyer Beware! Cheap knock off. Not Compatible!
The motor was the wrong configuration for my Singer Featherweight Portable. My repairman was unable to get to my machine until 10/13/2020. I inquired about a refund & was told by the seller that as I was 5 days past the 10/08/2020 return cut off date he would not make an exception. He told me I should resell the motor for $10 less than his price. I’m extremely displeased.Meanwhile I found the correct motor & it’s actually a brand new Singer motor. My repairman installed it today. My little Featherweight is running like a charm. I am beyond happy with Desk Dave’s Featherweight Factory for having the correct motor and getting it to me within 3 days. Do not recommend Precision Sewing Machines. Their motors are a cheap knock off sold as Singer replacement motors compatible with the Featherweight Portable model 221P. It’s in no way compatible. $123.74 down the drain & a motor I will never use. 👎🏻
