Can you wash the duster after it becomes dirty

I am on my 3rd California duster in 15+ years. I use it to rid pollen in spring, general dust throughout the year, and airborne salt in winter months of NH. I personally dislike the factory applied wax on the duster as it leaves some waxy marks on the paint and windows when right out of the box. This leads me to put it through the washing machine I order to wash out some of the wax. As months of use go by, I spray either McGuire’s quick shine or Chemical Guys’ quick shine to the mop. This I’ve found is a better solution than the wax. As other responders have stated, use on cool paint and do not rub/mop hard. This could cause hairline scratches and spiderwebs in the paint. If the dust/ dirt will not come off, either wash the vehicle or use a waterless car wash product. These mops are a must have for people who like a clean car!

Can I use this mini duster on my dashboard, navigation screen, & leather seats? Is whatever wax on the yarn safe for these?

I've used it for everything and I know someone who has a couple of the small ones she uses to dust everything in the house with. One in each hand. I use for everything in the car. I don't know about a navigation screen, but think it would be fine. It just dusts, you don't actually clean anything with it. After it is broken in it should not leave any residue at all.

Will this scratch the paint when only used to remove pollen? Vehicle is kept inside and driven very little.

The manufacturer says it will not. I've used it on all my vehicles including limos and vette's with no issues. It's the best duster on the market.

How long do these last

Years and years long as you keep them in the bag and only use it for dust on the car and spray them with the water hose every now and again

Serves the purpose

Nice car duster. I keep my car in the garage, but even when clean, it gets dusty on the road or just sitting in the garage. I use the duster as needed, as well as before covering. Quick and gets the job done. Recommend.

Must have if you live in a dusty area

These are a must-have if you live off of a dirt or gravel road or if you just live in a generally dusty area. Where I live if my car gets too dirty it makes you a magnet for cops and they will pull you over in a hot minute. At the same time I don't want to be wasteful because a lot of the time my car is simply dusty, not dirty and necessitating a full on wash or wasting water. This works like a charm and has never let me down. I only took off a star because I think it's a little overpriced.

Dust on your rod? Clean it with this!

Die Lieferung erfolgte ein wenig holprig. Das Teil kommt direkt aus USA. Ich möchte nicht mehr auf den Duster verzichten, daher habe ich jetzt nach vielen Jahren den zweiten bestellt. Leider gibt es die Imprägnierung nicht nach zu kaufen, sonst hätte ich das alte Teil gewaschen. Innerhalb von wenigen Minuten sind Staub und sonstige Verunreinigungen beseitigt. Sehr zu empfehlen.
