I took this on a pack trip (unopened) two days after receiving. I should have tested it first but opening it for the first time I discovered a split in the translucent material about 3/16" long at a point where the folds intersected. To get by I patched it with an air mattress patch I had with me only to then discover that the cap leaks while laying flat to heat. Most of the water will leak out before the water is heated. The twist valve has tabs made of thin plastic that appear fragile. I expect these would end up broken in use before long but obviously I didn't get the run time to find out. Total fail.

Excellent purchase!! I'm prepping to go full-time nomad and am always on the lookout for anything that saves space in the van. I got this bucket and have already broken it in for washing down the inside of the vehicle. Hot water, cleaner, sitting on a wood laminate floor -- couldn't believe how sturdy this was!To show just how great this little bucket it, the worst thing I can say about it was the handles kept dropping into the water -- but I'm pretty sure that was because it was new so they were a tad stiff.

First had bought a very cheap all-plastic version from a box store to see if we could find it useful to have a shower bag. That quickly ripped as expected and also confirmed having this concept at our boondock camps would be beneficial. Beneficial not just for showing but also hanging near a dish wash table just for washing hands and such.Read many reviews on this and bought it with the most important information mentally noted in the comments many times. Yes, the cap lid leaks. Makes sense to use some Vaseline as a thread sealer and that did the trick. No leaks.The bag and handle quality have impressed me. They are more sturdy and of good quality. I do. Or see it ripping from weight as easily as the cheap plastic one did. Not to mention the handle makes it way easier to carry with confidence.Highly recommend! But search for the lower price. These are one of those things that have a huge gap in prices from one to the next on here.

I bought this knowing there was a high likelihood of failure but I didn't expect it to be one the first use. It was filled up, set out to heat during the day then used to shower. What water remained in the bag was enough that it split wide open when set down on the table. A hole the size of my fist cracked open along the welded seam. Seller did nothing to help remedy the problem and only asked if I was satisfied with my purchase in three separate emails.

I used this during the summer. It got mold in it and couldn't figure out how to clean it properly to where i'd want to use it again.

This heats up real well. Fortunately, I like hot water so it doesn't bother me. My wife thinks it gets too hot. Usually the water temp is up over 104 degrees by the end of the day. I don't have a problem with it personally. LOL

so these things only work if you fill and lay it flat face down. Ok cool. sure enough water got to 126'f. problem is most of it leaked out of the fill cap. I had started a poor review and decided to try one more thing. Applied petroleum jelly to the inner O-ring and tested again. 4 hours face down no leak. So if yours does not seal right try the petroleum jelly fix. I would prefer if these would warm up while hanging so you don't have to muscle 40lbs over your head to mount it.

The screw-on cap for the fill valve does not seal well. Have to leave the shower upside down so the fill valve is on the top when heating the water. It still warms the water in that orientation but NOT in a timely fashion. Hose was quite short and went to my local hardware store to get a longer piece. We can deal with it as we have been boondocking for over 30 years. Will not buy this product again.
