Amazing!
Quiet, effective and super easy to use. Completely tamed the condensation issues in a large flat. Couldn’t be happier with this product. Highly recommended.

Really good dehumidifier
I had a very expensive dehumidifier for around 7 years which served me extremely well, I live in a Victorian building with solid stone walls and single glazed windows so damp is always going to be a problem. My previous dehumidifier was not the same system as this and the cold didn't affect it all. I was a little worried that this would not be effective as it requires a warmer environment to operate. So far this cheap unit has absolutely blown me away!! It occasionally jumps into defrost mode but quickly gets back to work, it pulls a lot of moisture out of the air and I manage to maintain a humidity of between 62-68% which is incredible! I also use it to dry clothes and again it does an admirable job. 100% happy and thoroughly recommend!

84 sq metres flat: it does the job
Our flat had constant humidity levels > 75%, with considerable condensation on the windows in the mornings during cold days. We were distressed about mold and had been worried about continuous respiratory problems since we moved to this flat, regardless ventilating well every morning. Since we acquired the dehumidifier, we can easily keep the humidity levels around 55%, even when drying the laundry indoors. Condensation on windows have completely disappeared in the mornings. We have to empty the deposit every 36 hours approximately. The device stops and slows down automatically if the deposit is full or humidity is below a given threshold (we set it up at 55%). Our respiratory problems have stopped (I don't know if this is consequential, but if not, it is a big coincidence). The noise is considerable when operating (I don't know in dB), but you can hear a small hissing and the fans. We have it in a room that connects to most of the rooms in the flat, and we don't use very often and it is doing the job.

Great dehumidifier BUT difficult to manoeuvre around.
As the title says its a great dehumidifier, it's quiet, efficient, and definitely helps with drying clothes so is a far cheaper option than a tumble dryer. My bungalow has limited space and drying clothes can be a challenge but since acquiring this machine I've been able to dry a lot more clothes in around 2/3 of the time. I machine washed 6 pairs of jeans, which normally took a day to dry completely, and with the help of the dehumidifier were dry in 12hrs. I also use those small damp collecting pots in my bedroom but I'm hoping that these will be a thing of the past once I start using the electronic dehumidifier in the bedroom. It is quiet, however I've yet to use it in the same room for any length of time. I've left it on overnight with no noise issues It switches off automatically once the reservoir is full. The only downside is it doesn't have castors as it is heavy, I'm 58 with many health complications so moving anything heavy can be challenging. A plant stand with castors may help but I've yet to try. Maeco does sell sets of castors for £14.99 which aren't easy to fit apparently. They should have had the castors on originally, I'd have paid the extra. It does have a slot at the back to use as a handle but it tends to tip forward and slide out of your hand. In summary it's worth it and shouldn't be a problem to move if you're able to lift heavy weights.

Good for laundry drying indoors
Stops mould due to drying indoors and does a cycle of 6hrs at 6p and hour. Gets quite a lot of moisture out of the air 1/2 a tank in 6hrs. Then 10min or 15min in tumble dryer saving money. On laundry mode easy to use compact

Excellent Value, Excellent Dehumidifier
Was recommended to me by a friend who had previously had some serious condensation issues. We had fairly minor condensation in corner of bedroom and in bathroom, particularly when temperature dropped. This dehumidifier has not only stopped all that, but the added bonus is that the washing, and any damp towels, dry so much more quickly. Easy to use, empty once a day, and as far as I can see is pretty cheap to run. At £150 it's not cheap, but we now longer run the risk of having to replanted or repaint the bedroom, and so much healthier with no dampness in there. Well worth it.

We cannot live without a Meaco dehumidifier
We have had three Meaco dehumidifiers. They are exceptional at taking the moisture out of the air in our bathroom after a shower, helping to dry towels, as well as washing from our three children. This prevents mould and helps to warm the air temperature. We run our Meaco dehumidifier 24/7 and it makes very little noise. We absolutely cannot live without this product in our home.

Excellent all round
Very happy with this. Left it a few months before leaving a review. Noise is acceptable, similar to a room fan. Ability to set humidity level is very useful. Dehumidifes our 5x5 metre open plan kitchen/diner/lounge with ease. Has a quality feel. Would definitely buy another one, or any other Meaco product for that matter.
