Constant touch-ups
This doesn’t wear well. As a few others have said, it goes patchy with wear. For a premium priced product you expect premium performance. Unfortunately you don’t get it with this paint. I applied two coats last year. Now having to repeat due to patchiness. Bit of a shame as my deck is pretty large. Not relishing the idea of doing it all again.

If you have dogs it might not be the best choice
Went on easily, nice matt finish. Looks lovely however...We have dogs and I have noticed muddy paw prints don’t brush out and take a bit of work to get rid of with the hosepipe. I’m assuming it’s because it’s non-slip that maybe it kinda ‘holds on’ to dirt. Or maybe that’s just my experience- But it’s still a nice colour (urban slate) and looks good

Great colour and goes on lovely
Really love this decking stain, my decking has seen better days and even after a good 2 days spent scrubbing it there were still some bad patches but this has brought it back to life, so easy to paint on, I used a normal paint brush and gave it two coats which I could do as I went along because it was a red hot day and it dried really quickly, after just an hour it was dry enough to walk on but not enough to put the furniture back on, I think the key is to wait for a day when your decking is really dry I left my two days after cleaning it and both days were sunny only down side is I've ran out! So need to buy more when the money tree grows new leaves

Was very pleased with the results colour was same as on the tin I bought a decking brush and paint pad both on a poll I preferred the brush as it worked better in the groves but this used more paint stain it covered new and very old decking perfect and is very anti slipp as other stain I used in the past was very slippery I give this 5 star plus but buy double the amount if using a brush it applied very easy as I am over 70 years old happy with Cuprinol xxxx

Poor results.
Followed directions on tin for preparing decking. Waited till decking was perfectly dry.Applied three coats, made sure each coat was perfectly dry before applying next coat.After four weeks it looked like this ( see photo )Decking was sound and dry before painting.It seems to come off when it rains.Very disappointed when a lot of time was spent on preparation.

It's not slippy
Works really well as a non-slip finish. Meant that we could go out on the decking with confidence whereas it was getting very slippery when wet. After two seasons it did start flaking so not as durable as I'd like. Because it is so effective as a non-slip finish I am using it again.Because it has a slightly rough finish I would only use it on decking boards, not balustrade or similar.

Durable like the colour
Used 3 tins which was expensive. The decking was previously brown but had faded badly in the sun. Applied two coats, left for 3 days before going on it or putting furniture on it, finish is great and durability looks great. You have to give it time to cure/dry, if you do it will not flake or run off
