Seems like a great knife so far! The Flint totally works, contrary to other reviews. We're wondering about the Paracord - seems like it's something that could be unwrapped if needed, but can't figure out how to do it. Anyone have ideas?

This blade pocket knife is has a really nice design and feels like it would be very effective for an everyday carry or for a Camping or fishing outing. The blade has a very quick opening action, with a sharp blade and a serated portion as well. The grip is light weight but has paracord and the fire starting rod as part of the design of the grip which all fits well together and provides a sturdy hold.

When my knife arrived I took it out for a quick test drive. I do a lot with scouting and need knives for various tasks. This knife has a decent edge out of the box, but that will obviously be honed. The feel and sturdiness makes me confident when using to cut or strip things using the blade. Very easy and responsive flip out for quick access. The bonus was the fire striker which is stowed in the hilt. I have many of these in my individual packs so it is nice to have one right in my pocket accompanying my knife.I will be out hiking and camping this weekend and will add this to my collection and see how it works out in my more rigorous usage. All in all, I think it is a great value for a knife that seems like it will last for a while.Update as of 8/1/2019: I have had the knife for a couple of months. When I attended a scouting event I used the knife. It worked well. When I returned home after that week, I went to go clean the knife and noticed that the screw/bolt that holds the knife to the handle was missing. This renders the knife useless as it is unstable. I am not able to find out how to reach customer service to find out about servicing the knife. There was not a lot of heavy use, so I am not sure why the bolt was loosened.

It’s a good knife. The only thing that this knife has on my other knives is that it has a fire starter, which is very good in my opinion.

Knife is sharp and the quick pop up function is very useful. When bringing up the blade manually, it does not fully lock all the time. The twine that is included gets in the way since there’s about 5-6 inches just free hanging and not tied to the handle of the knife. The flint does not work. Handle feels cheap but it’s a cheap knife so get what you paid for
