My fruit is so clean!
My fruits and veggies are noticeably cleaner when I use this soap on them, no doubt about it. A nice side effect I noticed is that slightly wilted vegetables would perk up again after using this; it's almost as if the veggies absorbed some of the water and became fresh again. I would definitely recommend this product. However, there are a few things to be aware of:-you must very thoroughly rinse your food after using this. It is slippery and tends to cling a bit, and the taste of it is sort of grassy and bitter. I don't worry about eating it, but it doesn't taste that great.-it's very thin! A previous reviewer mentioned that this product has been very watered down from it's original form, so you have been warned. I suggest putting it into a pump bottle for better control.-you don't need a lot of product. A little goes a long way, which is fantastic, but this make points one and two all the more exasperating.Overall, highly recommended!

Very soapy
There's no way for me to test the efficacy of this product (contaminant levels of unwashed vs. washed veg), but as for the product itself, it feels pretty soapy and actually creates quite a lot of bubbles when washing leave vegetables. I want my veggies clean but I also don't want to waste a gallon of water to do it. I spray my leafy greens, toss/mix them to coat with solution, then soak in water for a few minutes. Once the suds die down I'll give them a final rinse. For fruits, I spray and rub then rinse, and though bubbles aren't a problem it does take a bit of water to fully rinse them clean of solution. My mom also says she can taste the solution on things like corn and blackberries, even after a thorough rinse.

Seems to do the job
I purchased this to wash my fresh fruits and vegetables to remove chemicals and pesticides. I think it is doing the job, but sometimes I wonder as there is still a waxy feel to my apples and cucumbers. I purchased a vegetable brush as well and use that with this wash, but there still seems to be a waxy residue. I actually use more of the product than is recommended. I will keep using it tho, as I feel it is better than using nothing.

Maybe I purchased too many bottles at once
I think I went a little too trigger happy while purchasing this product. I should have bought 1 bottle to see if I like it. I'm sure it works, but I really don't like how soapy it feels. So far I've only used the one bottle a few times and I'm trying to figure out how to pawn the other bottles to someone else.

Fruit and Vegetable Wash
This Fruit and Vegetable Wash works very well when I bring produce home. It's affordable. My 'wash' helps to dissolve contaminants from growing, such as pesticides and herbicides and to make the produce I eat less contaminent-ridden.Oh, it's not like organic, but it's less like conventionally-grown after the washing. 10 minutes in the bin (I leave them in 20 and do something else), then the next batch of produce (a bin is only so large). It's a tedious effort, but I'm usually watching Friday evening talking heads political talk shows at the time.Oh, and the easiest way to reduce your contaminant level is to (a) eat a plant-based diet and (b) have no smokers around you and (c) not live or work in the cities. But for most of us, that's not immediately achievable; washing our produce helps immensely.Oh, but what about dining out? Who needs it?

Good product.
The product efficiently helps us wash away the waxy residue on our vegetables and fruits. Why four stars? I think the product could be improved if a spray applicator was included. While this is a package of three bottles, you only need 1 spray applicator. This would minimize the waste of the liquid.

try something else.
This doesn't seem to get my produce very clean, the apples and tomatoes were still left with the wax film. It leaves a chemical smell and becomes very foamy when added to water, i tried using the recommended amount and i tried another day using half the rinse dosage and still it was like a mouthful of soap and under cleaned apples . I tried to soak the leafy veggies in water in hopes to rid the smell to no avail. I ended up using a dab of dish soap and lots of water to re-wash my apples and tomatoes, and that was how I rid the chemical smell from my round fruits. This Environne rinse seemed like bubble bath re-packaged for produce. I think I will be going back to Veggie Wash.

Works great!
I ordered the mulitpack of this stuff and am still on my first bottle about 8 months later! It works just as good as fit and I don't really notice a citrus taste. It might leave a taste if you soak your fruit for a long time. I just put it in a spray bottle and spray it directly on my produce in a colander then rinse about 30 seconds later and you can notice a difference. Especially on broccoli and grapes! This is a great price compared to Fit spray and so glad I found another way to save $ and be healthy. I imagine you could even water it down because it is very concentrated.
