Zoo Med Vita-Sand in Outback Orange

We really like this, HOWEVER be aware it has a vitaminy smell. Which most people would not bother at all, but I'm over sensitive and it kinda makes me nauseated. The lizard seems to like it just fine. I would like to try the lighter color next. It is orangey. It scoops out well when we have potties. And kinda clumps when he pees. It seems to be a wonderful product and I feel good about using it. Just wish it had less vitamin odor. But again that's probably not a thing for most people. I would buy again.

The sand is reptile sand, it's what you need. My only complaint is that the color is so overly orange it looks just awful, I thought it was gonna be grand canyon orange colored, instead it feels like it nearly neon orange. Other than that, it's sand. I guess it's good for if you want to be able to see your reptile/arachnids better.

Perfect addition to the tank.

We ordered this for one of our dragons enclosure and we really wanted that cool bright orange but it stain everything, even our Dragon. Even after he’s shed it still lingering after having removed it for the last few months. Plus it was so fine and got dust on everything. EVERYTHING. Saw these photos in my gallery today and finally remembered to leave a review.

Our bearded dragon loves this stuff!

Excellent absorption, though smell of the calcium can sometimes be overpowering.

A word of caution... This sand will change/stain your bearded dragon skin color until a couple sheds later ..
