Must have this one
I purchased this book couple of weeks ago. The reason i bought this book is it's textbook of my course Negotiation Strategy. I read this book and i liked the contents, i think it's useful in our daily bases of course if you dealing everyday negotiations. Overall it's a good book. It's worth to have it in your library or in your kindle device.

Bent Cover
This book was purchased new. Upon arrival, the book was in the box like it was not placed in with care. I expected a new book with a crisp and unbent cover of the book as it is a paperback book. Oh well, needed it for a class and have to deal with it.

Great book that distills negotiation down to the salient points one would need to put it into practice. Short and easy to read chapters. This is not a book that drones on about the subject, but rather has multiple practitioners viewpoints with great examples to illuminate the topic being discussed.

Easily readable reference
You can't play the game if you don't know the rules. Maybe one or two gems that make it worthy of purchase. UPDATE 11/18/2018 This book helped me close a deal that I was negotiating on for over two years that seemed like there was no hope in ever getting done. Those few gems really hit home and help me with my approach that allowed for the deal to be made. I wouldn't have been able to get it done without this book as I tried every known tactic to man, except for the little gem I found within.

Dieses Buch gibt einen sehr guten Überblick über die Theoretischen Grundlagen und Verhandlungstechniken wider, und erklärt diese auch Praxisnah und unkompliziert. Für mich war es eine tolle Einführung und in vielen kleineren und grösseren Verhandlungen die im Leben so anstehen, greife ich auf Techniken aus diesem Buch zurück. Auch einige Phänomene und Verhaltensweise meiner Verhandlungspartner kann dieses Buch sehr gut erklären. Klare Kaufempfehlung

I have finished half the book, and it is extremely good. Just about everyone can benefit from this, one can say that negotiation is an innate skill etc., it is an art, etc., reading this book helps because just like in all areas, there are best practices one can follow in negotiations too. I bought a Kindle edition.

You would learn from this book the basic principle, strategy, tactic of negotiation, how to do an effective one and mental attitude to negotiation. The analysis based on psychology about negotiation should be usefull for those who need to improve their negotiation skill. The key to conducting an effective negotiation would be whether you have the ability to read counterpart's mind successfully. In that way, this book is well-written and would be a good example.
