This is a great item. Too short? Great tool to reach things. Trash on the ground? Easy and clean way to clean up! It comes folded up in the box, but it easily snaps together in two seconds.

I use this to pick up trash on the ground and to reach items embedded deep within bushes or brambles. It does a pretty good job, the pinch-force is usually enough to hold the item until I can get it bagged. Don't expect to be able to pick up bricks or other heavy items with this grabber but it handles light items with ease.

This product works very well, the gripper part that picks up the object is amazingly adroit. It can pick up a butt, in fact, A stepped on crushed cigarette butt, that’s the level of adroitness that this apparatus has.Highly recommend!!

Perfect height for me. I'm 5'6". Looks just like the picture. Does a great job picking up trash and other things. Feels solid. Has a nice grip. Does a good job holding whatever you pick up with it. I bought mine for picking up trash outside. No regrets!

Conclusion first: dig for a few more pennies and buy a better version of this.This grabber does what it is intended to. It grabs. But the moment it touches your hand, you will think "wow, what a piece of crap."First, it squeaks like hell. Hope you're wearing headphones as you use it! This might be due to the rubber at work inside the mechanisms, but it's pretty laughable that everyone is ok with this.I bought this to pick up litter around my neighborhood. To that end, it works, but is frustrating in that the last 1/4" or so of closure is the toughest one to operate. The squeeze gets progressively more strenuous, meaning if you need to only grab large items, you'll be fine, but if you're going for small stuff, you will wear our your muscles over time.The grip is not very comfortable when used over time. For one item, it'll be fine, but for something like my use, where you're holding it for 2 hours+, you might even wear a blister onto your hand.In terms of measurements, I'm 5'10" and this feels on the short side. I really have to be right on top of something to pick it up, and still end up bending slightly. It's tough to understand what 32" means in practice, but I would love to see something that is 3-4" longer.
