Simply the best.
I had a blendmount on my last vehicle and this one is just as good. There is nothing else even comparable out there. This fits my 2010 Grand Sport like a dream. It looks OEM. This mount combined with a direct wire kit from escort is worth every penny.

Pricey but worth it!
Did not really want to get this because of the price, but finally gave in and ordered it for my 2005 Corvette to use with a Passport 9500ix. It mounted cleanly to the mirror and I have no worries about my expensive detector falling off the windshield because of weak or dysfunctional suction cup mounts. It is solid and very nice looking. This is an awesome, quality, well engineered product that I am glad I bought despite the price.

If you are thinking about any other mount, you're an idiot
I'm on my third radar detector, but first BlendMount. Previously even though I drove a $50K car I kept using thee stupid suction cups. Do youself a favor. Stop looking and buy it. Strong, custom fit, durable, incredible design. I tapped directly to my mirror so that I don't have any cords showing.Hint: Blendmount sells a mirrorTap for like $25. Instead, on "another auction site" you can buy them for $10.2nd Hint: If your wire tap has bare leads when you get it (depends on the maker), it's a lot easier to stick the wires into the back of the mirror if they have pins on the end. Go to RadioShack and buy a D-Sub connector. throw the rest of it away but crimp 2 of the pins onto the wires. They fit perfectly into the back of the mirror.

High Quality Product
I recognized this as a very high quality machined part right out of the box. The instructions were very clear and installation on my 2007 Corvette Coupe took about 20 minutes including the wiring (sold separately). A nice feature is the ease of adjustment provided by a number of machine screws on the mount. The mount provides a convenient method for installing and removing the detector.

It almost looks stock! Almost....
I say almost, because it does take up a bit more room than the rear view mirror, but barely. This product absolutely provides great quality, easy instructions and great and efficient customer service. I highly recommend this for any Corvette owner that's looking for a mount for the detector.
