I wanted an extra thick mat to put at the bottom of our basement stairs just for a little bit of extra safety. These are working great for that purpose! They are nice and squishy And provide a little extra safety. They were easy to put together and did not have a strong smell right out of the box. I do have multiple cats and the cats are scratching at them and causing some wear, but I expected that and I am okay with that because again they are just in my basement. But if you have pets and don't want cats to wreck them, keep in mind you will need to keep them away from your cats somehow.

Excellent product!! Very thick and most importantly, firm. I can drop to my knees while exercising without fear of injuring myself, thanks to these mats! I also do not worry about damaging my floor with pieces of equipment. They do have a slight plastic-y smell but that disappeared within a day or two. It was super easy to install these, they lock together tightly, like puzzle pieces. They look really great, especially with mixing the light and dark together! I am very happy with this purchase and would definitely purchase again!!!

Incredible find! These worked great for a home workout space. When I wanted to enlarge the workout area, ordered another set and fits in easily with the first set. I may even go bigger! A must for saving joints, fatigue and reducing the pain. Great quality!

I use these mats to do insanity in my garage and den. These are THICK and prevent stuff around me from shaking. Still, these mats do slide a lot when doing jumping exercises. Still, I like these a lot, they're really good for cushioning, but I would suggest getting something to prevent them from sliding. I would still absolutely recommend these to anyone looking for workout mats!

Nice and thick. Laying them down since I have tiles and a 1 year old for protection when he’s playing on the ground.

I ordered 3 sets of the 1"-thick black mats to build my home gym during quarantine. My workouts primarily consist of kettlebells, dumbbells and bands. These mats are great for dampening the impact of the kettlebells and dumbbells. Very easy to install, no directions required. These mats are also very modular and can be expanded to accommodate larger/commercial gyms with ease. When I bought the first and second set, I was working out in my attic. These held up great in the heat until I moved them to a more tempered spare bedroom. I was able to rearrange the shape of the overall mat and add a third set to complete the new space. I anticipate doing the same for my next (larger) space as I purchase more equipment. Also worth mentioning is they are very easy to clean. I have been using clorox wipes or simple green to ensure my gym stays sanitized but I am sure any standard cleaning product will do.I highly recommend this product to anyone looking to build a home or commercial gym! The price point seems fair and they have held up very well over the past 6 months with no signs of wear.

I bought quite a few of the 1” thick foam mat boxes for our 15” round intex pool. We have a lot of small rocks in our backyard so I wasn’t able to get every piece up. I put a tarp down, gorilla pad and finally these mats on top before setting up the pool. 4months later and rocks still underneath, the pool is standing strong. The pool bottom is so soft and has not caved. The pool legs are even sitting on top of the mat and have not pierced through. I extended the mat out some from the pool to make a place for my kids to sit and enjoy the pool (sort of like a little deck on the ground). I take down and store the pool so I’ll be storing these mats for us next year as well. Writing this in hopes my review helps others looking for an intex pool bottom solution. Certainly not cheap but well worth the investment long term. I’m giving this 5 stars for still holding strong for an entire summer here in Virginia.

I had been looking for thick tiles for my small workout area at home. These give me a lot of support and are soft enough to provide cushion for floor exercises. Definitely recommend
