(Old Edition) Computer Organization

I purchased a used copy. There were some markings on the pages, which are common in used books. I wanted this just to read only once so I ordered a used copy. Coming to the content of the book, it’s a very good book. Just read few pages. Author has explained the things in a very understandable way. Even a person from non-CS background can understand from this very easily. I liked the book very much. I recommend this to whoever wants to learn Computer Organization and Architecture.

Good reference book for the computer science engineering students. Write in detailed and easy language with clear diagram, except some topics. However, Amazon's delivery is the worst. Received 1 day after the promised date. I was thinking of cancelling the order, but didn't as I urgently needed the book. Anyway a nice and informative book. Can be studied along with Mano's "Computer System Architecture".

The book gives a brief detail about computer architecture. I am preparing for GATE and I find it ideal. You can also buy the book if you want to enhance your knowledge regarding architecture or organization.It arrived on the promised day.Thank you amazon :)

It covers all the hardware and software part of the computer architecture. It also has dedicated chapters on ARM, Motorola and Intel Assembly Languages.

Few of the topics are missing, that are required by my course syllabus. But overall good for the GATE preparation.
