This timepiece is inspired by early aviation watches, though it comes with a modern twist. Oris BC4 Flight Timer is equipped with Oris 690 automatic calibre, a modification of ETA 2836-2. The movement performs 28 800 vibrations per hour and has 30 bearing jewels. A 38-hour power reserve is available for the convenience of the wearer. Hands and indices are luminous for improved night time visibility. Oris BC4 Flight Timer provides simultaneous indication of two time zones. The second one is available through a sub-dial at 3 o'clock. Subsidiary seconds appear at 9 o'clock. A date display is positioned at the 6 o'clock mark. Additional useful features include Oris branded compass, vertical crown for independent adjustment of the second time zone, Oris Quick Lock security crown, see-through case back and scratch-resistant sapphire crystal glass with anti-reflective coating.
