Perfection in flavor, citrusy zest and size for the cost - I love adding it to ice water for sprucing up refreshments. I don’t keep it refrigerated, and it seems to hold up just fine.

One of my most favorite drinks in the world is Brazilian Lemonade. Nothing is better on a hot day than a tall, frothy, icy fruity drink. The way I learned to make it required three limes per batch. You quarter the limes and toss them in a blender with one cup of water. Then you pour the mixture through a strainer to get the juice. The theory is that by using a blender on the whole lime, you get a certain color and complexity in the final drink that isn't present when you use just juice. To date, not one single person for whom I made this ever commented on the complexity of the drink. So I stopped using whole limes and started using this instead. Tell you what, it makes preparation a heck of a lot easier. Half a cup of lime juice (or more to taste) is enough for this batch. To this bottle, add a cup of water, a cup of coconut milk, 3 tbsp of sweetened condensed milk, and 1/4 cup of confectioners sugar. Toss this all in a blender with a couple of handfuls of ice, and blend until cold and frothy. Add to a glass and savor. Adjust the amount of sugar/coconut milk/lime juice depending on how limey you want this. Heck, add tequila to it if you want to go nuts. This is a good product, and this bulk format gets you a cheaper per bottle price than you'd get in the grocery store. It's good stuff.

We like Mexican food. Lime juice is a prime ingredient in many Mexican dishes. And limes are not cheap! So, we decided to use bottled lime juice instead. And this stuff is great! We were a bit reserved about using it but now that we got it, we are sold! It's great! And since we bought a case, psychologically we don't think we'll ever run out so we don't hold back on the lime juice! And we really do love it! If you have a use for lime juice, this is a really good product. We recommend it highly.

I love to have lemon and lime juice in the pantry for cocktails and cooking and finding these larger bottles of lime juice in bulk was a fantastic deal. You taste lime juice with a hint of something that is what makes it shelf stable, but it isn't unpleasant and it doesn't affect how the juice performs in whatever you're making, which makes it a definite win in terms of product. You just taste lime juice in the cocktail or that bright zip in the dish you're making, and that's all I can ask for! Plus, trying to find fresh limes during the winter can be an expensive and frustrating exercise in futility, which makes having a shelf stable and tasty option a great thing to keep on hand. I will definitely order more when I'm close to the end of this dozen.

Very convenient to have in the fridge - you don't have to keep buying fresh limes which always seem to end up spoiling when you really need them.

With RealLime, for $28, you have 180 ounces. Lucy's gallon is currently $35 for 128 ounces, for a product indistinguishable from others. I preferred the gallon container, but not at their prices. RealLime will work fine unless and until prices change for the better.
