I love this leash! It's strong and high quality. I have a service dog and wear it over the shoulder to keep my hands free. It's really comfortable for me. My only complaint isn't really a complaint. Wearing it over the shoulder means about five feet (give or take) of leash between my hip and my dog. That's probably fine, maybe even desirable, for people who are using it more casually. If your dog is in a heel position, it's a lot of slack to trip over and needs to be knotted up a bit or it'll be in the way.

This is a nice heavy leash. Our dog is mid size and super strong. He snapped our other leash in half. This is very sturdy. Probably too heavy duty for a small dog. Lots of adjustments you can make. It would be nice if one of the metal loops could be a bit closer to the end so you could make a smaller loop that was a better size for my hand to hold but that is minor. Happy with the purchase.

I love this leash. It is a bit longer than I thought it was going to be but however, there are so many ways that you can use this particular leash. The sturdiness and quality is phenomenal. I needed one like this to train my dog for walking beside a wheelchair and to be in public places when I have my hands full, to continue to walk by my side instead of me having to keep hold of a leash and trying to manage taking care of my groceries or what not. Wonderful product will definitely purchase again

This is a pretty decent leash, the clasps seemed a little lightweight and began to rust quickly after purchase, and that is why I gave 4 stars. I replaced both clasps with heavy duty ones and riveted them on. Also, added 2 traffic handles from a retired leash I had for personal preference. Really like the length and so does my rambunctious 60 lb lab mix Raven. Overall, pleased with this leash. Seems sturdy, only weak spot are the clasps but with that resolved it's been fantastic.

works great but if your not a strong person I do not recommend it, could hurt your back

I was looking to replace an English lead I gave away when my prior dog passed away. I loved it as it was so functional and durable. This was the closest I could find. It’s ok but it’s not as good as the one I bought 20+ years ago before there was an Amazon.

Great leash,HOPE IT GETS SOFTER WITH USE. I Purchased this after shoulder surgery to minimize risk of dog pulling on arms this is great draped over neck under under arm,easy to switch sides. I'm 6' 1" so length is just right and shorter it would be good to look at shorter version.

Perfect size for taking the dog on a walk but wanting the be able to keep her close when required. Good strong material and doesn’t get all tangled up. Really easy to tie around the bench if you stop for lunch and the dog loves walking at more of a distance. Comfortable to hold and does what it needs to do.
