I got this for mom in memory care. Unfortunately, folks with dementia wander - sometimes into other residents' rooms. This can cause alot of anxiety. I put it across mom's door. She can leave her door open & see out without worrying about unwanted company. Some families use baby gates, but those can be a tripping hazard. This banner can be placed at a height that won't trip or clothesline people. The velcro attachment makes it very easy for staff. In fact, the staff thought it was great for redirection.

This was an effective tool for keeping our family member with dementia from leaving in the middle of the night. An additional tool we used was a mat in front of the door sounding an alarm when stepped on. Cancer warning on front of package!
Although this product is as described, I was alarmed at the notice on the front of the package stating that the product would expose me to chemicals proven to cause cancer and birth defects! This is completely unacceptable!!!! I will be returning it immediately.
